If you really pay attention to the falco who beat hbox at the end, he basically played a perfect stock. He dances around ps side to side almost perfectly evading hbox. He sneaks in at least 5 lasers, 3 nairs and 3 dairs, ending in a cross up f-smash. Nearly all these clips demonstrate one thing, coolness under pressure.

I'm surprised nobody's talking about the first peach who beat m2k. That one made me happy, he played like a beast and he was so happy when he won

I remember my friend and I were playing friendlies at Genesis 6 when m2k came up and asked if he could join. My friend played first, got bodied by him and immediately after m2k just looked at him and said "can you go find me a peach player? I got a peach in my bracket." We never did find a peach player so maybe we're the reason why he lost.

It's interesting how many upsets are done by players who would be at a very high level. Zain would be best in the world, Cody would be very highly ranked (and be particularly dominant against HBox), and aMSa (who was at one point known for being the Yoshi main who beat m2k) is also highly ranked. Even if there's other elements at play, upsets can be taken to mean that the upsetting player could be worth watching.

Love that Zain over Plup and Cody over Hbox were once considered upsets, and now they're the #1 and #2 players. Shows how far both of those incredible players have come.

Regardless of seeding, I'd argue HBox taking Evo over Armada is a lot better/more significant than half of these

same thing with taj vs colbol, this is NOT an upset. taj is amazing, colbol just wasnt that good at the time.

1st one was NOT an upset at all; not even close. m2k tried to be cool and lost for it, not to mention how many neutral interactions he won vs trif in the entire set.
