@@m.l.252 Unfortunately, the smaller and less tall breeds are getting more popular than the regular height or large breeds. People want a Dalmatian they can stick in their purse as an accessory... 🙄
I wouldn't say it's because people want a mini to put into the purse. It Just biological thing, small cute animals = less danger, more love, more trustworthness on the First impression. It can also be because of some resemblence to children, which makes us go into "protecc mode"
My dog's half corgi and half black lab. And he has the body lab, but the neck, the voice, the ears, and the spots of a corgi. In other words, he looks pretty tall to me. :)
I can only imagine the health issues the offspring have after mating some of these breeds. I take care of a corgi/GSD mix and her paws are huge, turned out and has bad arthritis.
Well, actually, breeding corgis with larger dogs with long legs is probably better for them. Dog breeds are created through generations of incest to encourage rare mutations which naturally makes them prone to diseases and stuff. Mixed breeds tend to be more genetically diverse and therefore healthier.
Martin D. i agree! it blows my mind that people can understand that it’s not healthy for humans but not understand how the same principle destroys the health of animals. the concept of breeding is crazy.
Absolutely never do this. Breeding small and large dog breeds is horrible for the resulting puppies, they'll have many joint problems among other things and be under a lot of pain.
@@grod805 dogs with short paws already have joint problems, but if you increase the weight and size you put on those already problematic paws the result is even worse. In other comments you'll see some people who own these kind of mixes and their dogs have arthritis and many other conditions that put them through a lot of pain.
But another comment said that mixing a corgi with a big dog with long legs is good for their health. And the incest breeding stuff is not good for them.
@@MadAliceInWonderland Mutts Normally live longer then pure breeds had two mixed mutt dogs lived to be 25 years old. Lots of love and devotion went into them to make it that far.
@@MadAliceInWonderland Exactly My Grandma Had a Mini Doberman Chihuahua mix she was a lover lived to be 19 years old and she was in perfect health always had a clean bill of health when she went to the vet. We got a baby Chihuahua pure bred died from birth defect with the Mutt dogs we had not one of them had any issues unlike that one dog we had.
I have a 10 year old Corgi and Black Labrador, he still has the energy of a puppy. Corgi’s add an overload of cuteness to dogs who are already beautiful! I can’t believe how cute these breeds are! This video was just toooo much of adorable meets fluff! Thanks for uploading. ❤️
I am sentinel cowboy corgi are my chosen breed. Growing up we used then on my family’s farm and now I have them and use them on my own. More often then not cowboy corgi will retain the longer heeler legs.
Our sweet late pup Piazza was corgi and yellow lab! He looked just like a yellow lab besides the stumpy legs and curled tail and that stereotypical corgi “smile” 🥰
its artificial insemination. the sperm of the corgi is likely to have been joined with the female outside of the male's body using injection or other methods
my German Shepard is mixed with something but I can’t figure it out lol. She has the shape of a German Shepard but she’s all black with some white on her paws, feet and her belly is all white
If I could get any one of these I would get the corgi/dachshund mix. I love dachshunds and corgis, so that would probably be my favorite! (Or of course, corgi/golden retriever mix)
Ah yes a likely suffering animal that likely has hip issues and chronic arthritis due to its parents being a naturally small dog and a naturally big dog, how adorable the dachshund x corgi is okay, but a corgi x retriever is NOT. you should never consider getting an animal that will suffer it’s entire life just for the purpose of aesthetics. that’s disgusting.
Štěpánka Nováková my dog is honestly so quiet and chill but he is quite old but when he was younger he used to have more energy but has never been crazy lol
@@ginaf4085 i mean, it can go well too, it doesn't have to end up with big organs in a small body, but it can happen. I agree that people should be cautious with this and not mix dogs without thinking it through. If you HAVE to mix dogs(not that you would have to), it's a huge advantage that the dogs are somewhat compatible both in size and behaviour.

@@LuvHaebom Dude all i was saying it was adorable... if someone had the dog i wouldn't be like " your dog likely has hip problems " and TBH thats a little rude how you put it And due to the part that im just a kid im not going to be thinking about there hips etc.
Corgi genes are strong. Corgi / GSD is a winner. Corgi / Sheltie is great. But Corgi / Greyhound and Corgi / Dalmatian, so wrong. It looks 5 feet long. And with the Shiba Inu, noooo.
But mixes can go either way. Just because the dogs in this video looks a certain way, it doesn't automatically mean these mixes will look like this everytime. My dog is a mix and none of the puppies in her litter looked the same.
My dog is a corgi + chihuahua mix (Chigi) except he's black and short haired. He bites hard and barks like a Rottweiler or Pit Bull. He will chase after everything bigger than him. Afraid of cats though.
