i wonder if anyone remembers a vertical shooter game. A ship collects upgrade into a robot with nice transforming sequence

There was one arcade game that I have been searching for some time now sadly it is not here. The game play is basically the top view of jets. You as the player jet would take off from an aircraft carrier and fight of other aircraft, tanks, artilleries and stuff. Along the way you will also get power ups of weapons, the number of lives were unlimited too. The weakest gun you have fires only 2 projectiles at a straight line but that can be powered up. The projectile can vary also from the power up you get and can fire off blue lasers fast, or missiles or wide range of the same lvl 1 gun but yeah wide range cover. The other weapon you have is like a nuke bomb which is also unlimited but have like a short delay cooldown. Once it blows up it covers most of the entire screen for the effect. Iirc, by the end of stage 6 or 7 you will arrive at the same aircraft carrier that you got off from the beginning however, that aircraft carrier is destroyed from a bombing. The jet you control will land there and after a few seconds it will take off to fight once more but this time the fight is in space.

There's a sit down space shooter I clocked in 1982 or 1983. This was my only life achievement and I can't remember what it was called. It was 3d coming at ya, like Atari Starwars. Clocking a game wasn't trivial back then. Wonder if anyone even knows what it means anymore.

I didn't find the game I was looking for. The biggest feature of the vertical plane game is that each plane bomb has different effects. One kind of plane will fly to a high place and drop many bombs down by pressing the B key. The bombs will explode in many places on the screen, and blast out many circular explosion areas. The explosion will last for several seconds. During this time, any enemy bullets and units will disappear when entering the explosion area. (Not 1945)

I couldnt find the one im looking for *sad pepega*...Its top down shmup where the jet fighter has charge up attack and bomb...i could only recall one of the fighter jet full charge up release a purple spinning blade. This one has high risk, high reward playstyle since if you are good enough to dodge bullet while charging, you can technically just keep releasing the full charge up attack which almost behave like bomb (without the invisibility properties).

Can we buy ? Macross Superfortress my favourite. Only play vertical shooter.

I remember a shoot them up game where the ship had three bubble shaped appearance and you picked up a power up the ship bubbles changed to that color. I remember playing it on a Mac with the computer built into the screen. Apple iMac 15" Desktop - M6709LL/A (August, 1998) I can’t remember the game’s title but think it was called demon risk. I also remember the certain color abilities can be more affective on certain enemies and weak on others for all varartions. Kinda mega man changing colors depending on what he using. If anyone knows what vertical shooter I’m talking about, please let me know.

I didn't see the game I was looking for. I forgot the name but it has a wolf pilot character and when you launch his ultimate bomb he'll howl and the other 3 characters are bald guy with a bird like plane , and a fine rosy lady , and a young taekwondo guy , and they have different special attack when you hold the fire button in a few seconds you could charge special attack.

I'm trying to find a game from my childhood, maybe you can help me out. Playstation 1 game. Vertical shoot em all, the main description I can give is that at the start of the game you can choose the parts and weapons for the jet, before leaving the base, and the weapons are based on silver balls (metal) that move around the jet (this is maybe what makes it different and maybe you can remember the name). Been looking this game for ever and it seems like the game doesn't even exists, I can't find it. I had it on a disc that contained several light games and demos. Thanks in advance, not much hope hah

A parte qualche scelta opinabile (ovviamente) ma mancano 3 giochi importantissimi del genere. Galaga 88, Terra Diver, Ikaruga ( soprattutto quest'ultimo non può mancare in una selezione di shoot 'em up)

Hello,anybody here?i hope you saw my comments and reply me.i searching for game that i play when i was 6 years old,but after watching the video i feel very sad because there's is non of the game is my number 1 most favorite game.i will describe the game and somebody know please answer me.the game i played is space shooter,but sometimes you will be on earth defending it from alien/robot.its have many power ups, like fire,tracking missile shape of half moon,and my favorite is rain because its a wide area attack.i remember four bosses on the game.octopus monster robot that will attack you with his tentacle that shoot laser ball,porselen statue like an old man that you will fight on outer space the pineapple shape boss with long hand,and most cute boss is the maneki neko,statue of a cat that always wave its hand.please if someone knows the game, reply me.thank you

Non of them what i played back then. Only what i remembered was there's only one game i play was from 2000, a game that charging the power shot; like WAVE SHOT and SPHERE SHOT (but BIG). i don't remember what that game name was.. It was fun. 😓
