I love to layer Beau De Jour with Bracken Man. It brings clove aroma to overloaded lavender in Beau De Jour. End result is Beauty!!

15:20 I have the aftershave splash lotion and EDT. Classic barbershop scent. Use after bath or shower. Really flares the nostrils!

Great list. I have several of them but my favorite is one that gets no love. Tom Ford Fougere D'Argent is soooo good. Can't believe hardly anyone talks about it. Sartorial is my second favorite

Was great to see your take on the barbershop fragrances. I do like TOBS sandalwood cologne as well, I imagine a classic English barbershop would smell like that. Cheers!

Within my collection, the best smelling barbershop fragrance to me is YSL 0p1um Pour Homme. However, the price just too overkill for me. Comes very close to that is very affordable Quorum Silver. .. beating YSL Kouros Body, LOMANI Pour Homme, OSCAR DE LA RENTA Pour Lui, TED LAPIDUS Pour Lui, AZZARO Pour Homme elixir, MOSCHINO Uomo?, MALIZIA Uomo.

The price for sauvage elixir is absolutely fine to me, one spray of that is as potent as 6 sprays of another fragrance. If you do the math is actually reasonably priced.

Your no.1 i got a sample and it smells of a fire/burning plastic...didnt like at all....beau de jour is ace and a mention for Hdp 1725,it is beautiful also.Houbigant has 2 nice ones but maybe lean more fougere plus i go nose blind to them.

Lovely list, but frankly Opium PH is not a barbershop, it's an oriental fruity-vanilla with strong balsamic nuances scent. Rive Gauche PH was YSL's barbershop. "Thanks" to L' Oreal it's axed... Barbershops need to have a freshness and a cleanliness especially in the opening and not to be heavy right from the get-go. Cheers!
