Actually, what connected Michael Jackson and Pepsi inextricably was the injury that Jackson suffered filming another commercial that resulted in severe burns for him because of the pyrotechnics setting off flammable hair products he'd been using at the time. For all we know, it was that incident and its aftermath that led Michael to the prescription drug addiction that eventually killed him. This was an incident that was widely parodied at the time in various media, including a story arc in the Sunday newspaper cartoon Bloom County, where character Steve Dallas suffered burns on his chest while filming a Pepsi commercial because he'd used a highly flammable mascara to make his chest hairs look fluffier and fuller.

Alright I can honestly say that Jerry Sienfeld was Never Funny. Even before that add with Clark kent he was never funny. HIs sitcom was AWFUL.

My favorite was the ad with Justin Timberlake. I think it was Pepsi, giving prizes if you saved points. Every time the father or daughter took a drink, a prize would fly by. When the girl in the video drank her Pepsi, Timberlake show up on her lawn, smiles at her, ans gets knocked off screen by a flat screen TV that flies by when her dad takes a drink. Still cracks me up.

I remember my oldest brother showing me those Arnold Schwarzenegger commercials, and those were some of the weirdest and scariest commercials I had ever seen. Seeing Arnold with that look on his face freaked me out. I also had no idea that Liam Nesson was in a commercial. Also, love the Old Spice commercials with Terry Crews. You could tell he had fun doing those. We need to see those commercials air on TV again. I also remember seeing John Cena and a basketball player doing Coco Puffs and Frutie Pebbles breakfast cereals commercials too. The Coco Puffs ones where John Cena popped up from the bottom of the screen and yelling frutie were pretty funny.
