If underage people murders or seriously injure victims, their youth and best years must be snatched away from them. I'd say 40 years imprisonment, or more but not less.

...... For the safety of the community some of these young people who committed the worst crimes should never be released. To commit such vile crimes so young you would have to be beyond repair therefore a lifelong danger to all around them. Believe it or not, when i was in highschool, my freshman year to be exact, i was cool with another freshman. She was pretty cool but there were some rumors going around about her but me and her other friends ignored them. One day an amber alert was sent out warning us that if we see her we should help her out because she could be in terrible danger. Turns out she was pregnant and her mom told her she had to get an abortion but she didn’t want to. That day she killed her mother and cut her body up🤦🏽‍♀️ I still have pictures with her and there are online articles about her. She was only 14!!

It doesn't matter how much you love your baby if it's born without a soul.😪 If you watch the interviews with some of the parents, they say things like the kid was always mean, and that there's some sort of emptiness about them. A lot of these kids come from loving homes, they were just never good.

These kids need to learn that there are consequences for their actions. Trying them as adults is a good way of showing them that if you kill,attempt to kill or hurt someone you will be punished and sometimes severely.

Here is what I think. Take it or leave it. Some of these young kids are not developed enough to realize the severity of what they are doing, they are emotionally or otherwise upset/disturbed, and/or lacking in empathy for their victims. Empathy is most definitely missing in most cases, at least at the time of the crime. They look at the violence as a solution or a satisfaction. And society often promotes this in media. I know there will be people who argue with me that they are old enough to realize what they are doing, however it is a fact that boys and girls do not stop developing especially within their brains until they are in their mid-twenties. They most definitely should be punished, but these things need to be taken into consideration. Society is to BLAME too. True crime is everywhere (not that this is bad, I like true crime, but young kids are not protected from seeing these things, and this is a problem), books and movies on murder, serial killers known as almost stars, extremely violent video games, and etc. Life is not fair either. There are stories of people killing in the most bizarre manner, and getting off almost scot-free, like the Japanese man that killed and ate a woman. He is free and almost a celebrity. It is like WTF? If only justice was actually fair. There are so many things that go into the pot, in order for the stew to become a meal. It is a mix of things that make every story.

And there are always signs that unfortunately parents don't pay attention due to work or they rather turn the other wau yhen to admit their kid is a bad seedd... I found at least 1 sentence to be a bit strange although on the surface and having little information to evaluate fully why the sentences were set up as given i don't disagree with the punishment handed to these people. The one i think was rather odd was i think 5 life sentences plus several.days given to the kid who killed his entire family. How does one serve such a penalty? Does the state shock the patient at some point in time till declared dead then hurry a team of medical specialists in to resurrect the killer the state declares that to be 1 life sentence served and the second begins when after a certain period of time the second life is considered to be done and ended in the same method with another revival till the last the 5th death occurs. Is the prisoner revived again kept in prison for x number of days then set free or what? Is the state saying to people that reincarnation is a fact?? Carry on, just wondering.

These kids are NOT born this way. They have been taught by their peers, usually family.. and by adults and teenagers time and time again abuse so horrific, that what they know is to do the same to others. If you teach respect and forgiveness, discipline and show you love yr children… then that’s what they will use and give and show to others. Not to get all religious But scripture states an eye for an eye, ie your punishment should reflect what you have done Those that take a life shouldn't be Imprisoned, do we really want Murderers being released and living next6? There is also the cost element which can be as high as 70 k a year O.K you loose your freedom but you have 3 meals a day, health care and a roof over your head But what about the victims, they are left without their loved one and sometimes

For some of these kids I have mixed feelings on how to handle them. They need serious in house mental health treatment. They aren’t fully grown yet. Some of them can change. They should get a chance to try.

Kids are a product of their environment and it doesn't happen in a vacuum! I will never understand how anyone can say it's ok for young ppl to get life sentences!! Their brain is not even fully matured. They need therapy and a psychiatrist, not prison for life. I wish our government would put money into helping ppl get better i.e.-education, job training, therapy and mental health, rather spending money on keeping them in jail.

When are people going to wake up. The world has turned it's back on God, and these kids are losing their souls and conscience , and nobody seems to care until it's too late.

This is my opinion on this and i don't expect anyone to agree with me. If kids commit serious crimes should the be punished absolutely. But it should also be investigated as to the child life style. Was the child loved and treated as such or were there any kind of abuse or underlying metal illness even meds they are on. Now this does not give them a free ride bit it should all be considered on the punishment they get. Should we just throw the book at them and forget about them no. Even through a lot of these crimes were horrible it does not mean the child cant be rehabilitated and later live a productive life. Now i also know that some will not be able to but we need to try at least. We all make mistakes some more bigger then others and later feel very remorseful for what we have done and then you have some that don't and its the ones that do i believe are worth trying to save.
