Am I the only one that doesn’t need to have a Metroidvania that is harder than a From Software souls game? I love the souls games but I also don’t like getting frustratingly stuck on a boss or platforming section for hours or days. That being said, I’ll probably buy them and put myself through it. ;(
What game are you talking about? Nobody likes to find themselves stuck in front of a boss that is too difficult, at least not for days, I like souls but for example Bloodborne I did not finish it for me it was way too hard. 😭
I know Nine Sols is definitely a metroidvania that is insanely hard. Many say it's harder than Sekiro and I'm finding that to be true in some regards. I love the game, but yeah I'm with you in wanting more Metroidvania games that aren't that hard. I'll power through on Nine Sols because it's great, but I do wish it wasn't as brutal. I'm fine with something on Super Metroid's difficulty, it doesn't have to be crazy hard to be a masterpiece and good.
Good to see bArbarian Saga is still chugging along, despite several failed kickstarter attempts. A am hoping Astral Blade ends up being as good as Afterimage was last year. Fatal Claw looks good. Ender Magnolias I'll wait until it's out of Early Access, but Ender Lillies was pretty great. Grime I felt got too precision platform-heavy towards the second half, hopefully the sequel strikes a better balance. Hopefully we get an update on Steamdolls: Order of Chaos. Really enjoyed what I played of that demo.
best 2024 metroidvania video ive seen thus far. if forsaken castle, crowsworn, and castle in the darkness 2 were all coming, would have rounded out this list nicely. biogun another good addition this year as well. as far as i can tell people are liking it. im going to buy it i think
Wow, thanks so much for your comment! 🙏🙏 It really makes my day and motivates me to keep creating these types of videos.💪 I'm making a note of the game suggestions you mentioned. Actually, Crowsworn was on my list for the 2023 Metroidvania video, but it got pushed back to this year. I'll definitely make sure to include it in the next one! ☺
All of these look and sound the same lmao they all wannabe salt and sanctuary or blasphemous/ which in turn wants to be Castlevania and dark souls, bloodborne
hmm, some suggestions: you have a good amount of choice so why not annotate the video? Maybe leave the name of the game in the corner as well or instead of annotation. Maybe provide links to Steam or relevant websites for the games. Also you need to edit Enden's Guardian to Eden's Guardian in the description
Don’t forget Dark Light, a ps5 exclusive, (I think it’s coming to Xbox too) that was released either late last year or early this year and appears to have been lost in the shuffle of great game releases. It has fantastic combat and def fits the “dark” description. And while it’s already out for PS5, I’m sure fans of these games would be interested in Dark Light too. Just your friendly, neighborhood game announcement
I agree with you Dark Light, deserves its place in the top 👌 , but I didn't include it because it's a game that was released several years ago on PC and it's a game that I I really appreciated it, so I preferred to only include games that were released in 2024 ☺️
There's no denying the visual similarities between Eden's Guardian and Blasphemous. But honestly, as long as the gameplay is just as good, or even better, I'm all for it! 😁
They are present but RU-vid does not want to display them on the progress bar (only in the description)🤷 , but thank you for your very constructive comment 😉
Previously saw information that the developers of "the spirit of the samurai" will not be releasing it on the nintendo Switch. They said the console was too weak
I'm really sorry how could I have missed this game 😔, especially since I loved your previous game Wallachia, so I tried the steam demo since your message, 😊 Chronicles of the Wolf feels like a true classic Castlevania , the pixel art is really pretty, the game music is really great, the game is difficult but that's what you hope for in a metroidvania 🥵, it made me want to discover even more,I saw Pixelheart published the game. Any chance of a physical release for consoles?🤩 That would be amazing!
I look at Indie's for ingenuity. More of the same in this video. Nothing I haven't seen before unfortunately. All very uninspired. I'm starting to wonder if we've seen it all. 😢
There are a lot of new indie's games, in my selection I put the most promising (in my opinion), I also had to make a choice so that the video does not last 1 hour 😆
@gamezone_TV I'm sorry man, my comment wasn't a slam on you at all, more of an indictment of the games industry. I feel like 90% of what's out there is mere copy/paste.
My gaming preferences lean more towards physical media, so I'm not a big fan of the Xbox since the Xbox One 😩. I think that Microsoft is not invested enough in exclusives. While I haven't been as impressed by some recent Xbox exclusives, I know others have enjoyed them. PC gaming is definitely where I find the most variety, there are tons of releases every year, which means you get a mix of hidden gems and titles that might not be for everyone.🙂
@@gamezone_TV i dont even consider nintendo a competitive platform but playstation is just as packed with all sorts of garbage games. Its like their whole browser both new and upcoming is 80% just mobile game gotcha titles.
