Hi folks, don't forget to like the video and make suggestions for Part II I accidentally played some notes incorrectly in "COB - Downfall." I've removed that part from the video out of respect for the one and only Alexi! To do it justice, there will be two COB riffs in the next video
I don't listen to death metal but it will never cease to amaze me that Larry LaLonde went from being in Possessed to being the fucking guitarist of Primus, that dude's playing knows no bounds and I fucking love it
If you do a part two, may I suggest: Nile - Ramses, Bringer of War Suffocation - Depths of Depravity Immolation - Close to a World Below Ulcerate - Everything Is Fire Pestilence - Suspended Animation Incantation - Christening the Afterbirth Dismember - Override of the Overture Entombed - Sinners Bleed Morbid Angel - Maze of Torment Atheist - Mother Man
If you decide to make part 2, here are some bands to include: Immolation Incantation Malevolent Creation Revocation Rivers Of Nihil Job For A Cowboy (late creativity) Dark Tranquility In Flames Soreption Gorod Orbit Culture The Black Dahlia Murder Blood Incantation (first two albums) Gatecreeper Kataklysm Fleshgod Apocalypse Septicflesh Gojira (first two albums) Therion (first four albums) Benighted Aborted Hate Eternal Vital Remains
I normally don’t comment but you are the man and I wanna see this channel blow up. Your choice in songs are awesome and I love the free tabs dude. Big respect and keep shredding!
Another banger! Thank you so much for these selecting, performing as well as tabbing these great riffs. You single handedly helped me improve my technique in riffs and right hand technique in general. You deserve ten fold of subscribers! ❤ 🤘
He plays more than accurate and gives tabs, what else could be? Ibrahim Birdal is the king, another wonderful video, lookin forward to the next one! ( i wish to see a Monstrosity riff, one of my top DM bands with no bad albums)
İbrahim Birdal'ın videolarında beni en çok etkileyen editsiz oluşu.20 -30-40 zor rifi arka arkaya hata yapmadan, kusursuz seviyede çalmak çok çok ayrı bir yetenek.
@@culturekiller86, I feel like my songwriting is better through punk. Plus, it’s just plain fun for me. Besides, my fiancée has asked why I do punk when I’m a better guitarist than punk. My answer? “Because I want to”. It’s the most punk reason to do something, just because you want to.
Good Stuff! That Heartwork - Harvest Ritual transition was great. Up next: Amon Amarth - Friends of the Suncross Bloodbath - Cry my Name Bolt Thrower - World Eater Cancer - Tasteless Incest Cannibal Corpse - Buried in the Backyard Children of Bodom - Children of Bodom Death - Land of no Return Dismember - Suicidal Revelations Dying Fetus - Praise the Lord - From Womb to Waste Kalmah - The Trapper Kataklysm - Where the Enemy sleeps In Flames - The Jester Race Lik - Decay Massacre - Dawn of Eternity Mors Principium Est - Finality Necrophagist - Epitaph Nile - Kafir! Sinister - Altruistic Suicide Vital Remains - Dechristianize Vomitory - Regorge in the Morgue
Your playing is amazing! But I just can't get into this new stuff... compare that Obituary riff back-to-back with the Archspire riff, for example - there's just IS no comparison. One sounds like evil heaviness & one just sounds like random guitar nerding out, like 'look what I can do!'(MadTV reference, google it) Just my subjective opinion... looove your channel! (Yes, I am sub'd)
Excelentes rifts, felicidades, alguien conoce algun genero de metal con rifts mas pesados que estos? Pense que el Death metal iba a ser bueno, pero no me convencieron, no es lo suficientemente pesado para mi.
What string gauge do you use on the music man? You use a thick gauge and play so well with it but I can never find anything on if my strings are too thick.
@@SamBrockmann personally I only really like napalm death outta those 3 but yeah, they aren't death metal. I mean, later napalm death and early fear factory touched on death metal, and definitely had death metal aspects but I wouldn't say they were
@@jungleblobs5225 , if anything, Napalm Death /influenced/ a lot of Death Metal acts. ND's "Scum" came out in 1987. Death (the band whose name became attached to the genre) released "Scream Bloody Gore" in 1987. Possessed released "Seven Churches" in 1985. But the bands that really took all those influences and ran with it came out in the early '90s (or maybe in '89), such as: Morbid Angel, Dismember, Entombed, Deicide, Mortification. All of these bands released material in the '90s, which cemented the genre. Most of them drew from the bands Death, Possessed, and from Grindcore pioneers such as Napalm Death (the Grindcore originators), Extreme Noise Terror, Carcass, and even Sore Throat (a Crust Punk band).
@@SamBrockmann yeah exactly, it's like how SBG, Season Of The Dead and Seven Churches are both more brutal thrash, but all the bands after took those influences and turned it into pure death metal. Death metal stopped being fused with thrash in 1991 imo, once Suffocation, Ripping Corpse, Bolt Thrower, Immolation, Massacra, and Malevolent Creation all developed it into purer dm and eventually brutal death metal
