Thank you for a great year! Absolutely love your video commentary and reviews. Appreciate cha 💯 %! God bless you and prayers for continued success 🙌🏻 🙏🏻 ❤️ much Bro love Caffeine Man! Looking forward to 2024 with ya....
Holly Molly! I finally found a can of the ABE baddy berry at Walmart and I had the same 'Wow' expression as you. Im pretty sure this drink is meant for hummingbirds with how sweet it is!
Great list CM!! I want you will have a 2024 new year filled with good health, prosperity, peace, joy, love, and happiness!! Hope the channel will continue and be successful. 👍🏻💯🎉🎉✌🏻
You already know my favorite of 2023 is ALL ABE lol. Awesome to see baddy berry at #1!!!! GM, Ryse, Ghost and Bucked Up killed it this year. My dollar tree has had kiwi guava for a while so I have a whole desk full! GREAT list C☇M!!
I look forward to your great, in-depth reviews for 2024's lineup, alongside other discussions. JSTWORK would have to be my personal number one favorite this year. I enjoy not only the slim cans and simple design, but also the flavors, particularly the ICEE collaboration; Cherry is my most-liked. It has a nostalgic feel to it.
That Alani Nu Kiwi Guava seriously kicked ass for sure. Didn't expect it to be so good as I'm not huge on kiwi but it was thankfully mostly guava, and a very real tasting one too. I definitely liked this year's Red Bull Winter and the Prime original as well
Raze was more focused on putting out flavored teas this year. Not my thing, so I hope they put more effort into new flavors (not just mixes of existing flavors) in 2024.
Trying to think honestly. No idea the order but 2/3 guessing Alani Nu Kiwi Guava and Baddy Berry.. can't quite think of another 😅 my personal favorite of the year might have to be Kiwi Guava or Any Gorilla Mind. Came out of nowhere for me and I enjoyed every single release its insane! Have a Happy new Years CM 🎉 Edit: haha crazy I forgot about that Lychee... that Kiwi and Lychee sound like they could be my top faves need to try em eventually :(
Well there you go! I say yes to getting all three. You got 2 and then you said you would have any of the Gorilla Minds, which is what was 3 for me. 😂 Happy New Year!
I agree with putting monster original zero sugar on the list. As someone who cares a lot about how many calories I'm consuming every day, it's nice to be able to drink the original now with basically 0 effect on my daily calorie limit.
I found the kiwi guava alani nu at dollar tree and now I'm more excited to try it soon. I agree there's not that many amazing flavors out this year. Pear cinnamon red bull is ok. Apparently at Sheetz you can order a pear cinnamon red bull hot cider?!
Ive heard several people say they saw the Alani at Dollar Tree. Im wondering if its going to be discontinued or they are just selling down stock? Either way, seems like not enough people bought it based on simply the flavor name. It was so good!
@@CaffeineMan1 I was kind of surprised to have discovered the flavor at Dollar Tree, considering the brand’s recognition and popularity. I tried the flavor, and it was pleasantly flavorful to be placed high on the list this year. I suppose due to the flavor profile being deemed ‘too different’, it may have detracted attention from trying it out. I’d imagine kiwi and guava, especially in an energy drink, to be an uncommon combination. Overall, though, it’s underrated!
Being at an overseas military base, there is really are not that many options avalible. However, this year I have noticed a large expansion to the Bucked Up line. New GHOST drinks are my favorite when I can get them though.
Sometimes I talk too fast and its easy to miss some of my words. Its understandable! 👍 But what I said was, out of the first 4 original flavors Abe released, Fruit Candy was my favorite. Paddy The Baddy Berry was not part of the original 4 released. It was a new flavor released several months later. 😃
The Celsius Essentials were definitely an upgrade from their regular cans, in my opinion of course, but they still didnt seem to be great to me. For each of their flavor categories theres always something better for me. Although I heard the Mango Tango is showing up in Walmarts now. Thats Promising!
@@CaffeineMan1 Yes, a HUGE upgrade. I actually can't stand the original Celsius. But the flavors in the Essentials line all hit the bullseye, for me. They're all on par with - or even better than - the Reign and Ghost versions that they're competing with. They have the best Cherry Limeade out of the 3 brands (in my opinion), and the Blue Crush is just as good as Razzle Berry. The Orange Cream flavor is better than Ghost's (but not Reign's), and just a few days ago I was drinking a Dragon Berry and it dawned on me about halfway through just how delicious/well done the flavor is. But it's not just the flavors that hit, the formula is potent! Most energy drinks only give me a mild boost, but every time I drink a can of Essentials, I feel legitimately wired!
Glad to hear they work so well for you AND you love the flavors. Agreed they are 100% better than the originals and a great strategy to expand out to a different flavor profile so they have something for everything.
I’m a little late to this video, but I’ve had the DBZ Gfuel and I bought a case from my Vitamin Shoppe for a whopping 47¢ a can. Definitely a fantastic drink for the price I paid for them haha
They ALL came out in 2023, so it was hard to pick just three but Im sure everyone has at least 3 in their top list for 2023, its just a matter of which flavors!
@@CaffeineMan1 i enjoyed the ghost sour strips followed by alani kiwi guava which blew me away at how good it was. Happy new year CafMan!! Looking forward to what 2024 brings.
@@CaffeineMan1 yeah 2023 for raze even on the insiders front was pretty slow as they were branching out to a few months for the energy shots and teas they only started doing flavors again in October. Also haven't gotten to try every gorilla mind yet so that's why a lot didn't make it on the list
Ghost definitely doing a solid job with most of their flavors. I did like the strawberry bubblicious a touch more, but still a great gum flavor when there not many out there to choose from.
I totally agree with you that this past year was not the greatest for new drinks. I do agree with a lot of the drinks on the list but some of them I would have ranked a bit higher on my list. Your top three did kind of surprise me a little until I heard what number 1 was like and I should have known what that was. The Lychee Bomb I have not been able to try and really want too but Vitamin Shoppe does not have it. The Alani Nu kiwi guava I did not like as much at first then I had it again and started to like it a little more. The problem I have with that flavor is that I can really taste the sodium in it and there is 200mg of sodium which is plenty. The sodium seems to stand out a bit for me. It's still good but wish it did not have that much in it. The baddy berry I got a 4 pack of at Walmart and was really excited to try since I liked their other flavors. This I had a hard time drinking. I feel that the carbonation in this was really heavy and a bit too much for me and the taste was a bit too strong for my liking. Also, I don't like the can size at 11.2 oz, and they want $3.49 at Vitamin Shoppe for this and don't feel it's worth it. A lot of good drinks you have on your list I will say.
Glad you liked the list even though some of them may have been moved around for you. Was Abe $3.49??? Thats crazy. I mean, I agree with you about the price. I don't even want to buy 16oz cans at $2.99, let alone more for less.
I'm at 11:28 this means Tropic Storm or Orange Crush lost to freaking sour watermelon candy. What the heck caffeine man? I'm curious to see these next 3. Edit: No orange crush or tropic storm wowwww you have gone silly
😂😂😂 I couldn't state it enough (or MAYBE I could have)! All the Gorilla Minds were great. We're talking 9.4's and up!!! I could ONLY put 3 on the list, so it ended up being the highest ranked ones. IF it were my PERSONAL list, Id have Lychee Bomb, Tropical Storm and Kiwi as my top 3 flavors. I think no matter who you talk to, Gorilla Mind is storming through the ranks and with such great flavors its really a matter of your flavor preference. People that prefer grape will wonder why Gorilla Mind grape wasnt number 1. 😂 Im sure we can all agree they are on top.
I'm surprised with all the energy drink drinking you do that you haven't got sick of different ones. I used to be an avid Monster drinker and loved every low/no sugar flavor for several years, but as soon as Bang came out and I drank a lot of those, Monster is completely undrinkable to me now. For some reason Monster flavor type drinks are disgusting to me now, and I think it has to do with the vitamin and flavoring type mix. I think G-Fuel uses the same type of mix as Monster because I get the same blech reaction when I drink those.
Monsters have always been disgusting. 😄 Except for the Juice line. But, yeah, everything else from Monster has always been nasty, especially the sugar-free Ultra line. Yuck! 🤢 I honestly have no clue how Monster became so big with a bunch of products that taste like poisonous chemicals. Then factoring in what horrible people they are as a company, and there's no reason to ever send a single penny their way.
My preferences tend to change around a bit if a new drink comes out that I like. When Ghost Swedish Fish came out, that jumped into my regular routine. Same thing with GFuel Miami Nights. If Abe was in more stores, or on sale more often, that would probably jump into my regular rotation... but I have about a dozen or so that I rotate through.
Im shocked honestly. That ryze country time lemonade was the worst drink ive had all year.tasted too much like the real thing tasted the grit and everything
"tasted just like the real thing" ... but thats what it is supposed to taste like 😂 BUT, I can see how its not for everyone. With so many lemonades out there, theres so many different flavor profiles that its not going to be for everyone.
Not misleading. IF there was a good sugar energy drink released in 2023 it would be on the Top 20 of 2023 energy drink list... but there wasnt. There are no restrictions for this list besides it being new drinks in 2023.
@@CaffeineMan1 you said yourself in past videos you don’t drink as many sugar energy drinks, so your ranking is already inherently biased. Recognizing bias is important
I don't drink many sugar drinks because they don't release many. I review ALL new energy drinks whether they have sugar or not. Check out my review I posted today. Monster Rio Punch. That WILL be on my Top 20 of 2024, guaranteed and it has sugar.😃😃👍 If Monster is consistent with their new flavors, several sugar drinks could make the list. As a side note, I don't see you recommending any sugar drinks that should be on the top 20 list. Give me your favorite sugar energy drink released in 2023 and see if I missed reviewing it. 👍 I mean, I can't help it that sugar energy drinks are in the minority for new releases 😂
Understandable. Some people don't like the artificial sweetener taste. I dont like aspartame and can't have stevia. Some people feel the same way about sucralose or just like sugar better overall. Unfortunately, there arent that many new sugar energy drinks being released.
