Please don't cut down your content Sebastian. For those who want shorter videos, I have recently discovered that you can increase the speed on youtube in your settings, which has really helped cut down my viewing time. I love your video's they are so informative - you cannot rush excellence! Because you took the time out to list all of the perfume notes, in your top 20 Frederic Malle perfumes I was intrigued and decided to watch the whole review (with the speed on x2). Anyway I now own 3, and I had never heard of him before. Keep up the great work!!!
There's a lot of times when I'm certain of the fragrance a person is wearing, but then I think "I'm pretty sure they're not wearing that expensive of a fragrance" lol. I really think a person's body chemistry significantly influences sillage

I will always be a loyal subscriber because in 2019, I watched a video where you introduced me to Noir de Noir. It’s now one of my favorites and I trust anything you say. I bought baccarat rouge because of you and wasn’t sure when I first inhaled, but I’ve grown to LOVE it and it garners crazy compliments!

I wear those ad well.. I had a patient once who was wearing a fragrance. I asked what was he wearing? It was Kilian Black Phantom,. I had to leave the room...I would have gotten myself in trouble...lol! Tom Ford fragrances are the same...

I wore the br540 edp & complimented it w/ official baccarat body cream, then left the house to go grab food. When I walked into the fast food restaurant I hadn’t even made it to the front counter yet to order & someone was coming out from the fryer area cause they smelled it lol. And here I was assuming it was weak bc I couldn’t smell it anymore
I got accused of bringing marijuana to work when i wore hindu kush. To make it worse they were trying to get rid of me. Hindu Kush does grab peoples attention.
Hacivat give me the most incredible comment that I have ever gotten and I will never forget, I was leaving work one day and I was just about to walk out the door and there is a long hall way which is about 40 to 50 feet long and this woman was and the end of that hallway and she smelled me and yelled you smell good no joke it's a beast

Since like me you seemed to love Patchouly fragrances, I strongly recommend Behold Patchouli by Gallagher fragrances. Great new release.Patchouly and chocolate.
Some gems in here and some that are new to me , so it was great to learn more about those. Profumum roma and ramon monegal are two houses that always seem to have incredible sillage , and les eaux primordiales 😍
Anyone using Another 13 in 2024? Super skeptical if I should get it or not. Very different reviews and comments from users online makes me even more confused.
For me it is atrape reves by louoa vuitton. I would never choose to buy it. It was gifted to me but hands down the most complimented perfume and I've caught people following me even attitudes changing around me when I wear it
I prefer Carnal Flower, agree with the comment that Portrait of a Lady is for a mature stuffy person. I think all Tom Ford fragrances are sexy and they will smell you a mile away.
I agree to all the fragrances in your list that i also have ! I'll just mention 5 other fragrances: 1. Bluff from Lubin , 2. Louanges Profanes , 3. Jangala and 4. Manguier Matisse from Pierre Guillaume Paris . One that unfortunately is not in production anymore is Iquitos by Alain Delon .
Haha, I wore Charlatan last night, my other two faves from Fort & Manle are Harem Rose and Amber Absolutely. I’m wearing Hindu Kush today. Been on a Red Tobacco kick for a while, that one is so so damn good!
I need to try Portrait of a Lady. Sounds like it’s right up my lane. Curious to know if you know of a frag that smells similar to the original Fendi by Fendi. It was my absolute favorite scent back in the 90’s and I would love to find something similar.
Very happy that my two favorite fragrances are in this video, Tobacco Vanille and Hacivat. I'm about to get Noir de Noir too, but I find these so sexy too. I hope people in my way notes these fragrances the way I do, because I really really love them.
Non-offensive question: and serious, why are most perfume reviewers men? Women buy more scents (so far) of their own perfumes since the 1970's. Stopped being a gift from a lover, with exceptions, many years ago. Just curious as to your thoughts. Thanks.
Hello Sebastian. I was listening to this video and I think it’s really interesting. However, with fragrances, is a very particular situation. It has to do with the persons chemistry. Is it not? Specific fragrances from a specific cologne or eau de perfum can smell different in me that in another person. Just curious. That’s why I’m very hesitant to buy the same cologne that I smell on another person, because I don’t know if it will same with my chemistry. Any thoughts?
Own the Le Labo Another 13 and Dyptique Tempo - both have gotten compliments from trails. Straight to Heaven seems to be my most complimented, again going towards patchouli seems to be an attractive note. Tom Ford Fougere d'Argent also seems to trail very nicely. *Actually own BR 540 too but dont really enjoy wearing as its a bit feminine to me.
Now be careful with Another 13. On normal skin this one is nothing but barely noticeable pear skin scent that disappears after 1 hour. One has to respray like 5 times a day to smell nothing but pear. Very poor performance and no trail. But this is opinion of one. Get a sample before committing.
Oh how I miss the beautiful scent trail of the now discontinued MFK Lumiere Noire Pour Homme. Notes of cumin, artemisia, cinnamon, patchouli and rose. And another fragrance with a beautiful scent trail and compliment getter for me has been Kilian Back to Black.

Adding comment before the list. Tom Ford Vanilla Tabac. Some years back, I followed a guy around a sporting goods store until I caught up with him to ask what fragrance he was wearing. It was intoxicating. Great unisex scent which I have in my fragrance collection to this day. Another one is a women's fragrance and it's Touch by Fred Hayman. Still one of my faves. Egyptian musk oil,too...aromatics elixir,Clinique. Now,let's see what host has on his list.

I'm not sure if it's the fact that people are wearing masks everywhere or maybe I'm not wearing enough of it, but I do not get compliments on my fragrances. Currently in my rotation is D&G The One, Prada L'homme, Prada Amber Pour Homme, CH Men, Kiehls Musk and Dior Sauvage. I spray at least 4 to 6 sprays. Now I will admit that I rarely wear Sauvage because I haven't found a place that warrants wearing it.
Love Montale Black Aoud !! I have sooooo many rose/oud combos in my collection....ithat combo was getting "boring" to me...but I recently got Black Aoud.....and it is a nice "change" in this combo.
