My taste has shifted this year. I used to hardly ever buy fresh fragrances, always wore pretty deep, dark fragrances all year. This year for some reason I really started to like fresher fragrances and bought a ton of them.

Great list, thanks. Two fragrances that are very different but seem to come to life in Hong Kong humidity are Escale en Indonesia from Les Indemodables and Empereur from Aquaflor Firenze

MFK Gentle Fluidity - the best in my opinion, Torino 21 and Hacivat are also a great choice. Currently using Chanel Platinum Egoiste and YSL Y EDT.

Hi Sebastian, can't agree more with Gentle Fluidity Silver. I wore it several times this summer but weather was hot and dry here in France (between Lyon and Marseille / 30-40°C without any sign of rain). It's great as such, but definitely better when it gets cooler at night or when it's humid.

Honestly when it’s that hot outside I can’t wear a fragrance. It attracts too many bees and insects. I rather just use a scented soap to bathe, maybe a scented deodorant. However, I will check out a couple fragrances on this list. Thanks

Acqua viva and Eau D'Hadrien smell very similar to me aside from cypress being stronger in Eau D'hadrien on my skin. If you want the stronger one its Aqua viva and if you want the affordable one, Eau D'Hadrien is the pick. For me, it's definitely Acqua viva 😊

Sebastian, you live in SF too and it just doesn’t get that hot. It is mainly when we go out of town. I live in LA and many of my fragrances I can wear all year around. I just do not like smelling like chocolate even in 80 degree weather!

I travel to Thailand and before i had big problem with flyies and somthing that bites. But last time i buy lacoste Blanc for day time and azzaro wanted by night parfum for night. I got shit ton of compliments but most suprising i had 0 problem with insects!!!!!! This year i buy New L. 12 and somthing new for night not sure yet.

Some excellent choices here, Gentle Fluidity Silver, Torino21, Bohemian Lime, Hacivat, Molecule + Mandarin, all great! I'd personally go Cedrat Boise over the Intense... And personally can't stand Blenheim Bouquet because it smells exactly like some cleaning wipes that I get. I mean exactly the same!

Bergamote 22 performance is abysmal even if you don't care about the price. bought one three months ago, I swear it's a skin scent after half an hour and disappears completely after 2 hours

Most of these are long lasting on me some not as much but also longevity has a lot to do with environment, skin chemistry etc so I would suggest testing them out.
