just the sheer amount of charity jamie had shown her, and him not being able to do anything(because he wouldnt stab an old lady). still not sure if he cared about joffrey though.
You knew some complicated warging through time and space broke Hodor's mind without any exposition at all. Season 6 really was amazing and the final 2 episodes had me really excited for the final 13 to see how this saga would come to it's bombastic endgame.
Yep, and it was never truly explained... like what was the point of that reveal? I thought that was going to lead to something huge since something he did in the present time affected something in the past therefore affecting something in the future..... buuuut nothing else came of that...
What made Game of Thrones was Ned Stark's execution. It should have been easily in the top 3. That is what made all the hype. A show where main characters aren't plot armor protected... well, at least until season 5.
But why until season 5? Because G.R.R. Marting left? So many characters died in season 5, 6, 7 and 8, Roose Bolton, Tommen, Margaery, High Sparrow, Maes Tyrrel, Loras Tyrrel, Kevan Lannister, Jon Snow (5×10), Stannis, Ramsay, Rickon, Osha, Hodor, Summer, Shaggydog, Wun Wun, Shireen, Lansel Lannister, Grand Maester Pycelle, Doran Martell, Myrcella, Trystan Martell, Ser Barristan, Walder Frey, Olenna Tyrrel, Randyl Tarly, Dickon Tarly, Jaime Lannister, Daenerys Targaryen, Cersei Lannister, Beric Dondarion, Jorah Mormont, Elarya Sand, Nymeria Sand, Obara Sand, Thayne Sand, Euron Greyjoy, Theon Greyjoy, Lyanna Mormont, Thoros of Myr, Missandei, Sandor Clegane, Gregor Clegane, Lors Varys, Cyburn, Baelon Greyjoy, Petyr Baelish, Eddison Tolet, Viseryon, whole House Frey, Brynden Tully, whole house Umber, Lady Mellisandre, Selyce Baratheon, Olly, Ser Alliser Thorne.... I mean how is this not enough? Here are like 50+ main or secondary dead characters for 4 seasons...
Well, you can't kill all the main characters before the finale...what are we supposed to watch in the end, Davos and Sam? And keep killing them will become predictable
@@jp3813 Is Les Miserables a tv show? I know it is a book and a movie, it is very different....you don't have to watch several episodes without any favourable characters in these cases...
@@dimitra2742 There've been many adaptations across various mediums (there's even an anime & video game, believe it or not). It's one of the longest novels ever written. For GoT, the key is making it unclear which of the main characters have plot armor. I was only convinced of three b/c I felt that the story as a whole could still work w/o the others.
bran became king but I don't count him has one because of everything leading to that he said he can't be lord of anything and that he doesn't have desires and suddenly he is king? I see it like this 2 kings 1 dragon rider 1 queen 1 three eyed raven 1 world class assassin and a boy who can't zigzag (and cerdit to catelyn has well)
While it was shocking, it was so out of character. It becomes more insulting when you realize that in the books, Shereen is alive and at Castle Black with Jon Snow's corpse while Stannis is setting up an ambush for the Bolton/Frey army.
@@gfilmer7150 it was still a brave move from the show runners and I still think that they made a right thing. This is what GoT is all about, you can expect everything from any character, and that's why that Shireen scene was so shocking and great that even one of the strongest man could not control himself and gave everything to win a war, he lost everything but still, he lost the war and that's why the second part of the fifth season was so epic and great
@@nikoloznasaridze6328 There's a difference between doing subversion right and doing subversion wrong. They did subversion right when they followed the books, they did subversion wrong when they just decided to random shit like kill Shireen, have Arya kill The Night King without their being a fight, Dany burning King's Landing, and Bran becoming King. In the books, he'll never give into Melisandre's magic after he almost sacrificed Edrik Storm. He's on the winning side now because of Davos and Jon. Also, he'll never kill his daughter in the books. He told Justin Massey to purchase his twenty thousand mercenaries and make his daughter queen if he dies.
@@gfilmer7150 if you can see, Stanis is doing different in the books. He is on the winning side, so why does he have to burn his daughter? For fun? He was losing in the show and it was really well explained. It was already almost winter and Stannis stayed on the Wall for too much. If he stayed more at the Castle Black, the Winter would have come and he would have stuck there for like years. So he chose to attack Winterfell as soon as possible, and half of his army died or ran away on the way to the Winterfell because of freeze and snow and hunger. So Stannis was lieft with like 2000 men against 6000 of Boltons', he already knew about Melisandre's magic, he saw what happened to Robb Stark and Joffrey (and Baelon Greyjoy also died in the third book even until Stannis went to the Wall) and he knew that King's blood could give him another chance to win, he believed in it. So he was already going to lose, he was dead inside, wothout any feelings, he was not Stannis anymore, Lady Melisandre controled him after they left the wall. That's what human is in real life, he loved his daughter, but he made a terrible mistake, that's why this monent was so shocking and great, it was not Stannis anymore. Davos also said that Stannis was defeated by himself. That is what happens to humans after losing all the hopes and everything that they have been fighting for for last 3 or 4 years. There are no fully good guys in Game of Thrones and that's why it is so special. And I still love Stannis even after what he did, I think it made the fifth season darker. First 7 episodes of season 5 were good or not bad but those last 3 episodes are the reasons why season 5 is good enough for Game Of Thrones
@@nikoloznasaridze6328 Ok, I'm not saying can't have morally ambigious characters, I'm saying there needs to be more development. Stannis would never burn his daughter unless the situation was worse like let's say The Wall came down and The Bolton army's closing in. In the show, it came out of nowhere. It's also not faithful to his book counter-part. D&D have always hated Stannis and villainized him because for some reason they liked that narcistic glory seeking fool, Renly. You can try and do a darker Stannis story, but it needs to be developed. I say this as a wannabe writer who wants to explore the dark psychology of my main protagonist, Rick Jones along with the motivations of numerous other characters.
@@reginaphalange9417 He's gotta point, but Stannis says so much badass shit. It's funny because Renly's like "Stannis inspires no love or loyalty" but he has the most die hard fanbase.
one of my favs is when he pushes Lysa out the moon door, but also a couple ep before that when she reveals that they killed Jon Arryn together. It goes over some ppl's heads, but it cemented him as a way bigger threat than we thought, as he is like the reason any of this even happened.
My mom doesn’t even watch GOT, but she came in my room when that scene happened and even she was shocked. It was such an amazing scene and showed us that in Game of Thrones the only person you can trust is yourself, not even that sometimes.
What about all the hot white girl boobies?? That atleast was better than tucking in chairs right? I don't know cause ive never seen any of it outside this video and a few moving thumbnail pics
I loved this scene. Says a lot about Tyrion but silently. I mean, he was the one who cleaned Westeros, putting everything in it's right place. He is the real hero.
Mine would have to be Cersei blowing up the sept of balor and getting revenge on Onella. It was the first and last time I actually wanted Cersei to win
Other honorable mentions Walk of shame Tywin’s death Clegane bowl Danny’s heel turn Iron throne got burn Ramsey’s death Theon’s torture I think you can make a top 50 GoT moment
The Sept of Baelor being blown up is and will always be my favourite GOT moment! The music for this scene was particularly impressive, the buildup of tension was incredible!
though not really in the books (still a good scene) and without consequences, the faith militant revolted for less than that before being banned the old king Jaehaerys I in 48AC and that was over 200 years ago or 2 and half centuries ago.
The Red Wedding is definitely #1. The most of the rest belong, in different order (although, Brianne vs the Hound and the Wildlings vs the Night's Watch--death of Ygrette, which you didn't even mention, belong in the top 20, easily).
I’m glad Cersei blowing up the sept was in the top 5. I found it to be an oddly satisfying moment (as I really didn’t like any of the people who got blown up, and they all deserved their fate), and I think the light of the seven soundtrack is a little underrated. What do you guys think?
Every time I watch one of these lists, they show Tyrion's rage at his trial. And while Peter's performance was amazing in that scene, nothing, in my opinion, tops his performance while speaking with Oberyn when he was in the dungeon. The Story about how they met when Tyrion was just a baby and the hatred of Cersei towards him... his performance in that scene, tyrion is so broken, it just breaks my heart.
It made me very sad😔 this is my fav show, and I hate it when studios presure the creators with deadlines for money. It destroys all the hard work that was put into the project
i just recently started watching GOT 14 days ago and I finished the 8th season yesterday. I thought the 8th season was pretty good but the finale was just average and lacked emotion. The other seasons are definitely better in comparison so that largely contributes to the discontent of the 8th season
@@nikikhojandi9485 There was no studio pressure, HBO went on record saying they offered David and Dan unlimited time and resources for as many seasons as they wanted to do, and they made the decisions to cut it short.
@@stevennorris7181 oh wow!!I didn't know that!! I watched the doc and the production team & everyone was talking about the pressure they were under. I didn't know D&D were involved. Thanks for telling me😊
@@Chibekoe Can't argue that Ramsay getting beaten up is one of the special moments that make GoT what it is. But the hate that Joffrey attracts is just overwhelming for me. Idk personal preference maybe🤷♂️
Olenna telling Jamie to tell Cersei that she killed Joffrey was so awesome. She was so good on the show. Underrated moment. Also when leana Mormont declares Jon her king that was so awesome. 2 of my favorite moments from the later seasons
MetalForTheMasses exactly! Don’t get me wrong, I loved hodor and I was sad when he died but people seem to make his death seem like one of the most important deaths in the entire series 🤦🏻♂️
Cristian Barrera it’s not that person’s death or the way he died , the main reason why all recall that scene because of the brilliance of GRRM an the way he combines the time loop thing. It was beyond expectations. When you think deeply a person’s whole life affected by his own future ( hope I write it correctly for your understanding) it’s confusing yet a stroke of a genius. I was amazed that GRRM mention hodor in the very first chapter and after so many years we able to find the whole thing that explains how deep he thinks before writing the book. Hope the last two books will be as awesome as they meant to be.
Definitely agreed with The Red Wedding at nr 1, but although Hardhome and The Battle of the Bastards were amazing, Cersei blowing up the Sept of Baelor is the second best moment of the series in my opinion. The music just made the scene cinematic perfection and I will never get over it. It really solidified Cersei as a character, and further set the tone for the series
GoT is my favorite show of all time because of its amazing characters, incredible history and lore set up from the books, and insane mind blowing holy shit wtf moments! No show will ever be this good!
@Funk O'Matic yep mainly from season 5 and 6. I'm of the guys that believe that Season 7 and 8 drop the ball but the previous seasons I would be willing to rewatch all the time.
@@rinoguldvik5072 He said Drogon, not a dragon and it was a long time since someone did it before Dany so it's magical for the story and for us, the fans.
Best scenes --- • Tyrion's courtroom speech • Dany getting unsullieds & killing the master who thought she didn't knew valyrian... • Dany uniting Dothrakis & giving speech in Dothraki asking them to help her get 7 Kingdom while sitting on Drogon.. • Every other character reacting & getting afraid when they saw Dothraki, Unsullied & Dragons together for first time
Whitebeard The King he was trying to get her to leave for her own good but would not listen so he said cruel cruel things to her he did mean but knew would make her leave. She was hurt horribly by the things he said to her. She thought she meant nothing to him him at at and that he used her and did not care about her at all.
GOT have heaps of wtf moments, another scenes that weren't mentioned are: -Dany killing the Khals -Golden crown to Viserys, Dany's brother (that includes Khal Drogos speech) -Arya killing Ilyn Payne -Rob declared the king in the North -Tyrion killing Shae and Tywin -Misandei beheading
My favourites include: -Drogon rescuing Dany & Co. at the wrestling pit in season 5. -Drogon melting the Irone Throne. -Arya sailing to Braavos. -Dany becoming Mhyssa while held high by people. -Jaime rescuing Brienne from the Bear.
The hound convinces Arya to not be consumed by vengeance “do you really want to be like me?” “Sandor...thank you.” Also Dany burning the Dothraki Khals The battle on the wall with the wildlings
just finished watching ti ALL !!!! PFFFF an incredible series !!!!

*This is my opinion about the end of Game of Thrones (I'm sorry, my english is bad, but, I hope you understand me):* *1- The Starks, the true winners of the Game of Thrones: Bran will be the best king that has had Westeros in his history, he is a righteous man, with nothing of badness in his heart, like her sister Sansa, she has suffered a lot, but now she is the queen in the North; and Arya, the most warrior of all and the savior of Westeros to have finished the Long Night and killed the Night King. The great Ned Stark and the great Catelyn Tully would be proud of their children, as would Robb and Rickon what they would make of their brothers.* *2- The total claim of Tyrion: our little Lannister was making some mistakes lately, but he was brave to be revealed against his queen, and the end of the series again showed the great Tyrion of the past seasons, and thanks to him and his excellent arguments, Bran is king, and for the confidence he inspires, he was named the Hand of the King, and this shows that he has been the most intelligent Lannister of all, something admirable.* *3- The death of Daenerys: I loved Daenerys, but I think we all knew that she should die, I also remember that image when she entered the House of the Undying in the season 2 episode 10, and she had a vision inside the Red Keep, she see to the Iron Throne and before she could touch it, the screams of his little dragons interrupted her, and that was a clear signal that she would never sit on the Iron Throne.* *4- Drogon and the Iron Throne: the scene of Drogon burning the Iron Throne was totally epic and very symbolic, because he knew that it was the Iron Throne that murdered his mother, she was obsessed with that Throne, she was obsessed with sitting on it, and it was that obsession of power that led her to death; also Drogon did not burn Jon because he knows that Jon is also a Targaryen.* *5- The true purpose of the Lord of Light: as we all know, the Lord of the Light has resurrected Beric Dondarrion several times because his destiny was to protect Arya, and Arya would be in charge of ending the Long Night eliminating the Night King; and now, in this ending, we learned why the Lord of Light resurrected Jon Snow, and resurrected him because Jon had the purpose of saving Westeros from the Targaryen' tyranny with Daenerys, a queen who would rule with fire and blood, and that was going to destroy all those who did not kneel before her, who was going to destroy more cities, and no doubt will destroy especially Winterfell where Sansa lives. Neither with the Night King nor with Daenerys could there have been peace in Westeros.* *That was the purpose of the Lord of Light: to bring peace to Westeros, the peace that could not be possible if the Night King or Daenerys had ruled.* *6- The real North and the two most honorable Targaryen: it was beautiful the reunion between Jon and Ghost, it was also beautiful to see his reunion with his friend, Tormund; besides that, Jon ended up as his close relative, grand maestre Aemon Targaryen, another Targaryen who never wanted the Iron Throne and who ended up in the north, in the Night's Watch.* *7- The journey of Arya towards unknown lands: remember what Arya said to Lady Crane in episode 8 of season 6, when Arya asked Lady who was west of Westeros, Lady told her: "I don't know, the edge of the world, maybe", and Arya immediately told her: "I'd like to see it", and that's how it was Arya left for west of Westeros where no one knows what's out there.* *Everything has been fulfilled.* *Conclusion: Game of Thrones is the best series I've seen in my life, it was a series that made me cry, laugh, anger, feel nervous, feel afraid, but above all, it was a series that made me very happy.* *Thanks for reading me.*
This brought back some of the emotions I felt during these older scenes and I haven’t felt that it a while with the show..I really can’t explain how disappointing it is.
Jamie and Brienne’s bath should be higher up the list. Edit: How is the revelation of Jon Snow being the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark not in the top 5 moments of the show?
Top 3 for me are (before watching): 1.When it’s revealed that Jon is actually Aegon and cuts to when where he’s called King in the North 2. Theon’s death 3. Hodor’s death
