Haven’t played any of these except Suikoden tactics. I didn’t like it, but then again I haven’t played the other games so might be that affecting my judgement. Do remember it as a blurry game though… maybe that’s my set up…

One of my favorites is Madara for NES. Really great RPG. Super hard. Tons of options in combat. It's real time, fights are automatic, you have to pause to put in commands, on a battlefield that looks like 80's Ultima games. Much like a very primitive Final Fantasy XII, actually. Very ugly graphics that you can stare at all day, if you know what I mean. Something new games definitely lack. New ugly games are just plain ugly. Dark Story. Very mature. Plus they put some chip in the cartridge to have better music. Lots of bass and warm, static distortion. Japan only but it has a translation.
