I truly hope Darksiders makes a great comeback and brings us back to the quality of DS1/2 unliked the latest one. Lost Soul Aside looks more and more like a Devil May Cry game. WuKong Black Myth i had my eyes on it for some time at the start i hoped its not a souls like game but oh well we can't get everything i can only hope it has a great story. As for overall thoughts all games on the list look great but unreal engine videos and the gameplay experience are not the same so we will heave to wait and see how it is from a real in game(gameplay) perspective.
The devs of Project DT thought they won't be noticed~ The girl is basically Fu Hua's "Shadow Knight - Moonblade" battlesuit from Honkai Impact 3rd~ From her gameplay moves to her lore-accurate moves, even the weapon is almost like Nuada's Revenge(it glows orange when the SP is at 100 and above)~ Teri main Captain, btw~
I think Project Awakening looks amazing the character gameplay puppetry, how he moves in the environment, when he gets hit, the impacts, how he dodges. It is the best I've ever seen to be honest. That's the game to keep an eye on for that alone.

There is quite literally only one game in this list that can be considered similar or inspired by DMC/Bayonetta action gameplay. All the others are just action games like any other.

dont know about you guys, but what i really want is not some next gen games like devil may cry. I want dmc3 remake or dmc6..... been patiently waiting for the release of either of these 2 games from capcom for a long time..

When I see some of these games are PS5 exclusive, I can only think they are wasted games for a limited platform. If you wanna play a game properly, play it on PC with unlimited FPS, Hi-Res textures, etc.
Majority of these are too souls to be dmc like One of the main caveats of dmc games is the absolute freedom No stamina No ammo No finite resources Animation locks arent as horrendous, but are instead swift, smooth, responsive, easy to cancel out early Mobility as well, do you see how Dante works with Trickster, or Nero with his air game, or Vergil with his Trick actions? There should also be some kind of gauge that will recover as you style like the Devil Trigger gauge To be used as a super form or other really decent moves like the mirage blade/summon sword actions for Vergil, these said resource costing actions should have big pay off, like Heavyrain Blades level of pay off The design principle for such is to avoid fighting too efficiently and in a boring, scummy manner(i will admit vergil's judgement cuts in 5 seem too good like how it doesnt easily stale the style gauge) Then the number 1 must have The style gauge Dissapointed in this video Clearly the content creators here have no clue what devil may cry is like You cannot put anything remotely souls like to classify them as "DMC" like games
