I’ve been collecting Shaq cards since 92, people tend to forget (or werent alive yet) how big of a deal Shaq was when he first came into the league. I feel like his cards are way under valued. I have a bunch of his rookies.

I remember buying a pack of upper deck cards. First card was a gold Shaquille o'Neil card. It was worth like $350 back then. I was so happy I bought another pack. Lord in behold I got a David Robinson gold card. Wasn't as good as Shaquille o'neal but those were the 2 best cards in that series. Anyway I was reminiscing. I dont have those cards anymore but I miss it and wanna start collecting again. Thanks for the video

I bought the Classic autographed card number 12 of 150 at a card shop in 1993 for $800. Six months later I put all of my cards in a chest and forgot about them until this month. It’s fun to look through them and remember the fun my friends and I had going to shows and trading cards back in the day. Any idea how I can find the value of that Classic card? The population is so low it’s hard to find info on it.

To answer you question about the 1992 Classic Draft Picks Gold Autograph (numbered to 8,500) it came in a factory sealed set. It came in a cherry wood box case with just Shaq autograph card!

What is going on with Shaq Card Market February, 2021...I was alerted by a local dealer that cards were hot - so I checked auctions such as #1 Upper Deck (not 1B) and 362 Topps (not 1996 reprint)...and these rookie cards seemed to sell like hotcakes for high amounts...then I see end February so many auctions for nominal prices...are they showing originals and sending reissues or did the high prices open up the closets?

I bought the Shaq classic gold autograph card when it came out. It was in a wood box, with a complete set of rookie cards for that year. It was a run of 8,500 sets.

I just found the #19 I collected as a kid lol.

I have the team sheets from that year and the one before. At the home opener (Magic game) the first 500 entrants received them. I actually have a book with the inaugural season to which the cards were included with. Very cool collectors items!

How do i get my cards graded?

Looking at what has been going on lately in the market, I cant believe how undervalued Shaq 1992 topps and topps gold are. They definitely should be much higher. This is probably the next rookie card to go up!

I was fortunate enough to be collecting '93 and '94 basketball cards. I have a few Shaq rookies, but none you have listed here. I do have a couple of Fleer Ultra's; All Rookie Team and a Rejector card. Never give them up.

Great video. I was wondering how much Shaq cards sold for with PSA grading. But that creates a question. I see some older popular cards similar to Shaq selling for $2k + top cards but modern cards say, Tatis Jr or Luka Parallesl sell for much higher. Can anyone answer this question. Thx in advance.

The Ultra all rookie series card looks like it could possibly pass for a 10, at the very least I would say a 9. I have not submitted them for grading. Does anyone have any idea what the 92-93 Fleer Ultra Shaq rookie all rookie series card would be worth in a 10, or 9? Thank you!

What are the credentials to send cards to get PSA certification

The Shaq that came out of the perforated sheet came out of a Golden Book publishing company book. How do I know? The book is sitting next to me as I'm typing. 16 cards on 2 pages with a poster in between. The book is called NBA rising stars. At one time I had 10 books but so far I've found 3 in the house.

Those team sheets would come in nba related maagazines i remember i would like to read nba inside stuff magazines and on one of the issues they threw in a preferated card sheet that had 9 cards total on one sheet i remember i pulled the entire sheet but my brother wanted me to share with him so i split them apart and lost them this was back in the 90s .

I have a Shaq stat back promo autograph basketball card from 1992. I want to know the value.

Here's some insight to the Classic 8,500 gold set print run. As a Direct customer, if you bought 10 cases of the Classic you were then eligible to buy only 1 case of the Gold set with the signed Shaquille O'Neal RC card numbered through 8,500. Each case only contained 2 Gold sets, so they were very small sealed cases with 2 separately packaged wooden cased Gold sets with 1 auto each. I still have 2 sealed cases that I purchased when they came out. So I have four of these sets with the autographed rookies and have no idea what numbers they are because the cases are sealed. Classic has a very good case to being the only true rookie card for Shaquille O'Neal. When Shaquille O'Neal was drafted, he was holding out in contract negotiations. Classic made him a deal paying him $1,000,000 to sign an exclusive rookie card contract (for the year) with them, & sign autograph cards. After Shaquille O'Neal signed his contract with Orlando, the card companies that had license with the NBA were very upset and a compromise solution was agreed upon. The compromise was that Classic would retain exclusive rights printing Shaq's rookie card for the first series. During the second half of the season, every other NBA licensed card company could produce Shaq's rookie cards only in updated or 2nd Series that year. For this reason, Classic we'll always have Shaq RC appeal. The Classic signed Shaq RC print run of 500 and the signed print run out of 2,500 should eventually be the most sought after true rookie cards of Shaquille O'Neal followed by the signed 8,500 RC's and unsigned Gold set Shaq rookies. I know that there is another set of 9,500 signed 4 sport Shaq's from Classic which is different from what I have. This might have been from the updated set later in that year, it wasn't available with the original series. I can't say this for sure because I don't even remember if there was a updated classic set second series from that year.

There is yet another iteration with the perforated Fleer card that does not have a number on the back. This comes either from the NBA Rising Stars Golden Book uncut sheet or the Gooding's Orlando Magic team stadium giveaway (SGA) sheet. The Rising Stars card has NBA stats, which is the more valuable option, while the Gooding's card shows his LSU stats.

I had 3 cards of O'Neal of the number one 2 regular and 1 chrome I still have all 3 cards the packs back then were $2.50 for non chrome and for the chrome packs $5 that's were I got the oneal chrome i don't know how much is mine but it looks cool I only bought 5 packs of the chrome because for me $5 a pack was too much I used to buy the $2.50 packs $2 packs
