I don't want to be mean, but how exactly do you determine that 4 years old "know their way around"? EDIT: dmn, I didn't know that it had its own entry. I've experienced something similar to the Havana Syndrome. In my case, I have a pretty good idea what it was, but not what caused it. That's why I'm posting this: I was walking in the city park and felt weird. First, I couldn't figure out why, but the longer I walked the more obvious it got. It started with the sensation of diving, and feeling pressure on my skin and most notably my ears. It was as if I kept diving. I then started to hear a deep rumbling, but I could not locate the source, despite it sounding like a construction truck unloading a container full of rocks. Actually, it didn't seem to have any end to it. Anyway, it freaked me out and I didn't want to go any further as I feared for my ears. What really baffled me though was that apparently no one else around me noticed it! However, unlike usually, I didn't spot ANY animal, be it birds or squirrel, who usually roam the park. Thus, all findings combined I assume that it was a sound, which was mostly outside our hearing range, but partially audible to me and even more so to animals, who by their nature got better ears and are more sensitive to a wide spectrum. However, what could it have been? It must have been very loud and yet, I saw nothing out of place. PS: this was in Basel, Switzerland
