Same😭 image hearing a "Teke Teke" sound thinking it's a train only to turn around to see an upper body ghost moving with no problem towards you.😰 And image being stopped by a woman with a mask asking if she's beautiful only to find out she has a slit mouth and will kill you or make you look like her if you say yes or no either will end deadly and not only that she's extremely fast so there's no escape 😟
And considering that she's 8 ft. tall makes her presence all the more intimidating. Plus, she's one of Lady D's inspirations when it comes to appearance and gameplay wise.
If parodies of the Ring have taught me anything, you're safe against an Onryo so long as you're good in a fight as they're vulnerable to getting the crap beaten out of them.
Maybe in the PARODY but not for real. In BOTH Ring movies the Onyro can NOT be defeated especially in The Grudge. Thank goodness these films blue up BEFORE the dumb parodies came along
every country has their own urban legends about ghosts and spirits, even America. Don't let that stop you from going to Japan, urban legends are just that, they're fictional, myths, not facts.
@@iamlinda100yes every country has it but that doesn’t American will affect someone the same as Japan. Yes there’s myths but paranoia isnt going anywhere
It Even Served As The Inspiration For The Pokemon Frosslass, Which Explains Her Partial Ghost-typing And The Fact That Only Females Of The Species Exist! The Also The Futakuchi Onna Which Serves As The Inspiration For Mawile, Despite The Fact That Males Of That Species Also Exists
The number 4 is bad luck in Japan, and definitely 444, because one of the ways to pronounce the number is “shi” which sounds like the Japanese word for death.
I actually wanna meet the Kuchisake-Onna. And as much as I wanna tell her the beauty is the eye of the beholder, I still have to answer "So-so" and run like hell.
There is also the Jinmenken or the Human-Faced Dog which are just like their name says are dogs that have human faces that people will encounter on the side of the road the speak to them
This is what I originally found out about the Kuchisake Onna (courtesy of Tats Top Videos) When approached, she will ask if you think she's pretty. At any time you say no, you die. If you answer yes, she will take off her mask and will ask again. If you say yes again, she will then proceed to use her kitchen knife sized scissors and slice your mouth and give you the same scars as her. However, if she asks and you instead throw a piece of candy to her, it will briefly confuse her and that will grant you enough time to escape. Just be sure not to hesitate to escape. Otherwise, you're dead where you stand.
I read that if you say you have an appointment or are meeting someone, she'll apologize and let you go, and that she also gets confused if someone says she's average.
Good thing they are just that: legends. That said you should still stay away from wierd looking figures in the dark. They are most likely mentally unstable hobos and will eat your kidneys if you get too close.
You should read Budding Star by Annie Dalton. Two angels (don't panic, they appear to be young teenagers - one was a girl who died when she was thirteen and the other is a boy who never lived on earth and started out in Heaven) have gone to Limbo to rescue the soul of a Japanese pop star, who's fourteen and is on life support and might die, even though she's not supposed to. One angel realizes that it seems to be like a game. They see the same scenes over and over, everyone seems to know what they're looking for and everything seems fairytale-ish, but they hear musical chords whenever they kill a demon, and then they gain more energy and are moved to a different world with a new, higher status, like they start as peasants then become ninjas and so on. It's basically a video game in a teen novel.
I’m not going to watch this because I don’t like scary stuff but I just wanted to mention that I was reading too fast and I thought the title said Scarlett Johansson
