Being a 90s kid, I can definitely relate to a lot of these. The Olsen twins were my childhood heroes. I amazingly never failed at opening a Capri Sun drink. I was an obsessive Beanie Babies collector and I slept with the “life-size” ones at night and I still have a vast majority of them in storage because I have such fond memories of them (many of them are souvenirs too). I went to Blockbuster once or twice a week ever since I was six cause there was one only 5 minutes away from my house and we would rent around 4-6 movies a week! I still have all the movies and games I ever bought from there.

The 90s was the last decade of creativity and imagination, before these phones and hyper real CGI took over our ability to think for ourselves.
@beysmentssecuritycamera6013
Hypocrite you literally chose to be on your phone, you’re not making no difference stop criticizing people there’s no “our” or “we” there’s a reason why social media didn’t take over back then and you should consider maybe it was bc it wasnt that advance back then , what’s not clicking? …..
@beysmentssecuritycamera6013
I don’t even get what you mean by “hyper real CGI” cause back then it was more technology obsessed then today the only reason it didn’t take over was cause we didn’t have those things then ..

@@beysmentssecuritycamera6013 meaning visual effects so convincing we can't what's real and what's not, back then we had to fill in the blanks with suspension of disbelief because the visual effects in movies video games and TV's shows weren't what they are today.
@beysmentssecuritycamera6013
@@Soul-cry1 nah not true at all cgi now looks like shit … even Ai is trash …. Back then it wasn’t always good true but you can’t blame it since it wasn’t that advanced but now that we have the technology, the people Hollywood hire don’t even their job that well their cgi are mostly see trough …. Like yes compare today to back then we’re much advanced but rn it doesn’t feel like we’re really in that futuristic time, it just feels like we’re stuck at basic level and people are fighting each other online and encouraged bc of politics, I personally miss when Americans were actually trying to improve the country and not setting it back or fighting each other although ofc even back then it was flawed with discrimination but there was a little bit more harmony rn Americans are so focused on fighting each other that when for example someone form Europe say something bad the country actually Americans agrees ….. back then we didn’t have that much technology but we were still obsessed with the future and futurism aesthetic

Please, If you're a 90s kid, heed my words. I want to get this out to as many of you as possible: I feel that 90s kids automatically praise anything from the 90s no matter how dated or cringey it may be, and that they are always ranting and complaining about anything that isn't from the 90s without even giving it a chance to see if they might actually like it. Not only is their constant negativity annoying to listen to, but they are upsetting modern kids by claiming that everything they love is garbage. So, if you're a 90s kid, please try to remember that different people like different things. You're ruining the lives of younger people like me. Think about how you would have felt as a kid if some random adult had yelled at you to stop watching Rugrats or Hey Arnold because it was garbage and pressured you into watching old black-and-white sitcoms because they claimed that they were in every way better. That's essentially what you're doing to us modern kids. (Plus, I'm betting that a huge part of why you like the 90s so much is because of nostalgia.) This complaining is actually especially offensive to me in particular because I, myself, am a young adult planning to enter the film and animation industries. I very much enjoy the thought of bringing others joy with what I create, and I have been kicking around an idea for a cartoon of my own that I am EXTREMELY fond of and confident in. What I'm interpreting you 90s kids as saying is "give up on your dreams! All you'll make is pointless garbage that no one will like!", So can you please think before you post an online comment criticizing something you don't fully understand? You just might really hurt someone's feelings. (P.S: if you're curious about my cartoon, I would describe it as a combination of Gravity Falls, Avatar The Last Airbender, and the Arrowverse, but that's all I'll say)

You should see how many of them are angry because the new Space Ghost comics aren't a comedy like Space Ghost Coast To Coast, despite the fact that the comics are faithful to the original 1960s Space Ghost, which was a Saturday morning action packed cartoon.

Being a 90s kid I can relate to most of these. I never had a problem opening a Capri Sun, but my mom did LOL. I watched every movie the Olsen twins were in, I had a tamagotchi, and most of my school supplies was Lisa Frank. I always sang along to the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song and I knew how to do the Carlton. I rented a movie almost every weekend. I also loved playing with my skip it. The 90s were great!

Born in 1993 and have a Good memory of the last 3 years of the 90’s (and a very vague memory of some events in the mid 90’s). I experienced childhood in both 90’s and early 00’s before becoming a teenager in the Mid 00’s. So I’m basically hybrid, not one or the other but both.

I only ever once had a problem opening a capri-sun. Once i poked the straw all the way though the entire bag to the other side. other than that, it wasn't that hard to get it right. They should make adult cocktails that are like spike capri-suns that'd be fun!
