There was also the time when Ike was being haunted by dead celebrities, and Cartman willingly helped Kyle without expecting anything in return. Plus, he didn't even insult Kyle for being a Jew, once.

Cool video! Honestly though I feel with a list like this, you need to take intent in, as Cartman is more often than not, super selfish. When he saved Ike from Stevenson, it was because Stevenson didn’t have a hall pass, not because he cared about Ike and Kyle. Meanwhile, at least with the pangolin, he did it because he realized how much pain he was causing Stan.

Another small one I wanted to point out is from the episode "You Have 0 Friends." Earlier, Cartman was poking fun of Kyle for losing all of his friends due to friending Kiff but, later in the episode, Cartman actually goes out his way to help set up Kyle with someone that has the same likes as him and the kid is even Jewish as well. It's small but episodes where Cartman is genuinely helpful to Kyle is super rare lol

Indeed Cartman CAN be nice, it's just infrequent that it occurs, like here. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Also, in 'the wacky molestation adventure', he helped Kyle be able to go to the Raging Pussies concert after Gerald and Sheila told him no, by teaching the trick to him which he's played on his mum's ex-boyfriend to get him taken away.

I'm surprised this is, what the second or third list on the good things Cartman has done and none of them includes when he decides to not kill the pangdalin which was a double good thing because the creature was going to cure COVID (which only ended up not happening because the president took a blow torch to it and scientist) and he was actually taking in his friends wanting things to go back the way it was pre-COVID? Just Curious because I had a moment of seeing him getting real redemption where the others on the list comes close then most shows it was pretty much selfish motives

Half the time, these instances of Cartman being nice was so he could get what he wanted in the long run. For example, at 1:28 when he saved Kyle after the latter flatlined, he did it only so he wouldn’t be skipped out on a bet. So it was a win-lose when you think about it

There was also the time, like in the pandemic when he was going to kill an animal to stay home instead of school but seeing stan sad he gave the animal to the scientist to make stan happy. And try to cheer kenny up by pranking a teacher even tho that prank is mean. While he was humble and finally opened up his feelings to stan kyle and kenny at help, my teenager hates me.
