BTW, build is available only on their website: buildskincare.ca And if you're interested in trying Dieux, I have an affiliate code with them: SAM15 (I make a small commission from this). Otherwise, let me know if you have any questions.
That is good i use that combo alot in the winter im also really into the Neogen high R exsome moisturizer, the allies of skin advanced peptides and Dermtlgy night peptide cream . All of those are my go too .
I’ve been using this riceberry cream from liettleextra for a while now, in both summers and winters, and I like it a lot. These days, I use it occasionally for the lovely glow it gives my skin, but it was a lifesaver, especially during the winter months. My skin tends to be very dry during winter, and no moisturizer, even the richest ones, could help with the dryness. But, this cream has a rich, creamy texture and gives a subtle sheen to the face while keeping it moisturized. There were times when it was too cold for me to get out of the sheets and get through a long skincare routine, and this moisturizer came to the rescue. I’d definitely choose this in the winter months. It’s perfect for the summer, as it won’t make you sweat or feel heavy on my face. I’m so happy I found this cream.
Thank you so much Sam! Love these and really appreciate and love hearing your experience with them. I prefer the new La Roche Cicaplast B5+ a little more. Not a huge difference but texturally and possibly slightly lighter? Feel it absorbs a little better. Like you say- it is only an sos product and I would never use it as an all over moisturiser. Desperately want to try the Build B-cream. May I ask the CLOSEST cream to it? Or something even a little similar? Thank you!!!
I use Allies of Skin Peptides & Antioxidants Advanced Firming Daily Treatment. Great consistency, light, absorbs beautifully. It smoothes and softens the skin and also works beautifully under the eyes. I love this cream, I already have a new tube in stock.
Thanks Sam! What would you recommend for very oily and congested skin? I ordered the Murad mattifying gel in the Sephora sale but they cancelled and refunded it due to a “technical glitch”. Testing it went well tho. Oily and congested skinned people, what are your favourites? I also tested Glossier Priming Moisturiser Light but the niacinamide didn’t agree with me, as always. A stunning product otherwise! Matte, porcelain perfection!
I think both b-cream and Naturium Multi-Peptide would be good options for congestion prone skin. They aren't specifically mattifying but they don't feel suffocating. I'm not the biggest fan of gel textures though, so those are more creamy. Dieux Air Angel is basically a straight up gel.
@@sambythecounter thank you! So you don’t think they could be too nourishing? I’ve used V_fr Boum Boum Milk and CeraVe PM and found both too nourishing. I think I would’ve like CeraVe if it were lighter on the peptides tho. I just don’t like how they make my skin feel in the few products I’ve tried them in. If I like a gel do you recommend Air Angel for my skin type? Thank you as always for your amazing content!
I have never even heard of Build and im pretty up on all the skincare brands . Ill have to give it a try one of these days. My favs are the Neogen high R exosomes moisturizer especially for day gives your skin that hydrated plump feel without feeling heavy and has great ingredients the allies of skin Advanced peptides is my new obsession the Dermtlgy peptides night cream great ingredients frangance not heavy but you can use it day or night its like enough u know what i mean and i really like the ingredients list great when ur skin feels senstive. The Stratia interface peptide moisturizer with a pump of liquid gold and for the most basic of day time moisturizer that gives ur skin a super hydrated feel the Rephr light moisturizer or to layer at night and i also like the Abib hydration tube for this too . For a sleeping mask type thing layered over my moisturizer the Dear Klairs Midnight cream . Also in the korean catorgy the Etude 2x cica panthenol cream. Im sure i have more but basically this is what i have been loving the most this year .
I can't agree with you more on the La Roche Posay B5 (quite heavy) and B5+ (better texture), but only in SOS situation. It really is a skin saver when irritation from over-exfoliating happens for me haha. I'm starting tret now so let's if I have to whip my old unused tube out for it hehe. Btw, the boom sound goes? HAHAHAHA
