you could say that in the beginning half of yakuza 0 that was the same thing with kiryu, yakuza 7 is ichiban's start as a yakuza legend just like kiryu in 0
Totally agree dude. At that point I yelled something like “LET’S GOOO” or maybe “KIRYU!!!!!” so loud that the dog came running upstairs barking his head off. It was like 1am, I think my girlfriend almost went and got the baseball bat lol
Agreed 100% It was the very first one and it's so hype. So are Sewers Kuze, Sugiuchi, LAD Kiryu and Lao Gui imo. And I'm bummed there's no Aizawa, no Kido, no Arai, no Ishin Okita, no Y4 Daigo, no Shinada vs Daigo, no Kuze 4th fight and no "KYODAAAAI!!!". I wholly respect his opinion though, and Ibuchi deserves to be as high as it is here. Say whatever about the boss fight itself, the intro is amazing. The fact that people have so different takes on these and how it's difficult for them not to choose a determined intro spot for, not a top 10 or 5, but a top 25...? Says a lot about how amazing they are.
Kuroiwa is a solid number 1 for me too, honestly maybe my favorite RGG boss fight full stop. The atmosphere, the music, the story leading up to it, the fight itself across multiple locations, I've never wanted to beat a boss as badly as I wanted to beat Kuroiwa, Judgment is peak RGG for me, and that's saying a lot.
In terms of difficulty to pull off the said dynamic intro, Majimbo's intro with Dio is definitely the hardest, no question. The man dodged & deflected multiple bullets.
Icl I think Yagami v Kuroiwa first fight intro was better. After just confirming him being the killer, Yagami being like “leave this to me” to Kaito and the high kick towards each other was just so perfect
some of these rankings are nuts to me but i always think of the context and emotion behind the intro rather than just on how cool the intro is by itself on accident
Same. Some high ranked judgment intros are really cool, but for the context and emotion, I would say the intro such as kiryu vs shibusawa should be higher than those.
Thanks to everyone for the comments and for watching my Video!! Im glad that yakuza got the hype now it deserves. I will definitlely make an updated version after infinite wealth, because lost judgment and gaiden also had some nice ones and i wanted to wait for more which would definitlely change the rankings. Thanks a lot :)
Why bro didn't put Kiryu vs Daigo in Yakuza 4 and Kiryu vs Aizawa in Yakuza 5 in this list lol Those are easily better then most of the once shown in this list
Strongest Protagonists in my Opinions: 1. Kazuma Kiryu (But On Strength He's at the same level as Taiga) 2. Taiga Saejima 3. Goro Majima (You Obviously Know it) 4. Masayoshi Tanimura (His Parry would be a Problem for all of his Opponents) 5. Shun Akiyama On Par with Takayuki Yagami (LEGS) 6. Masaharu Kaito 7. Ichiban Kasuga 8. Shinada Tatsuo
@@colewlrd1317 keep in mind there are a bunch of different sub-types of strength. Saejima has a very clear edge in explosive power, but considering the fact Kiryu kinda jist casually ran through the entire Ueno Seiwa, he has his own advantages in other strength categories that'd put them relative to each other.
