Chopin's music really touches the human soul because he suffered in life, and in his suffering he wrote music of passion and angst. Unlike Mozart who had opulence handed to him on a plate, and was probably poisoned by a jealous husband.

Chopin Nocturne, Op.9, No.2 always makes me feel like I'm standing in front of a floor-ceiling window at a high ceiling penthouse living room overlooking the city, with minimalistic furnishing, while wearing a elegant white dress holding a glass of Château Mercian, Mariko Omnis 2018. Along side is a steinway grand piano that's playing this classical song.

I’m not going to hate, everyone has there opinion. In sports, I hate having “today’s team” shoved down my throat. However, something is not cliche if it is a fact. In. My opinion: Beethoven is the best, followed by Mozart. Berlioz should be on the list, 25 is okay, but he belongs. It got very personal from 10-1. I mostly agree. I’m not dissing, it is what pleases the ear.

From a quick amount of searching, it seems they used the view count of the RU-vid video with the most views, excluding ones that are most certainly not the original I am definitely noticing some inconsistencies, as Moonlight Sonata has over 200m views
@pfizerpflanze
@pfizerpflanze 4 месяца назад
There are actually some inconsistencies in the list, because for example Full Moonlight sonata, as reported by the previous comment, has over 200mln views, and Shostakovich's Waltz no2 is missing, but if you have never heard Nessun Dorma before is just an important lack of knowledge, because it is very famous and it appears also in several film soundtracks. I'm pretty sure the version with so many views is sung by the tenor Luciano Pavarotti and could be a little bit biased towards the Italian people, but I didn't check.
@Henri.d.Olivoir
@Henri.d.Olivoir 4 месяца назад
@@pfizerpflanze Yes, indeed. I have almost no interest in opera and 20th century music, much less in 20th century opera, so by the time I wrote that comment I did not know that piece. I do not think, however, that something such as an "important lack of knowledge" exists in regards to music and arts, a theme that is always very subjective. Everyone has their own objective in mind when it comes to music. I, for instance, wish to deepen myself in the world of romantic orchestra and, far more strongly, piano music; as such, knowledge of 20th century opera (although romantic) is not something I need really, especially since Italian music rarely pleases me enough.

If you mean by most famous is most widely known, I'd have to include Elgar's Pomp and Circumstance, which every one has heard at their high school graduation, even if they don't know who the composer is. Also more well known is Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries, and the second movement from Haydn's Symphony #94, the Surprise symphony which is the origin of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. And also the Bridal March from Lohengrin by Wagner.
