Spark looked pretty sweet. I'm digging the idea of swapping back and forth between "realities" to solve obstacles. I get this has been done before but usually more of a swap characters/gravity/color/etc and not a different era (maybe, idk). Vreski brought me back to The Matrix scene in the elevator lobby... bada$$. TONS of particle debris and environment damage! Also has that Max Payne vibe with the slowmo and diving. I am noticing a lot similarities between the new titles too (also like another comment suggests they're all the same games just different sponsors)... large monsters and highly overpowered heroes. What happened to underdogs and outsmarting the enemy? Is that not satisfactory anymore? Start with a bada$$ and get more bada$$er to just face roll in a battle I can't lose so no one rage quits? Hopefully that's just for demo purposes. And why haven't shooter or survival games implemented gun jams or proper mag management (games reload a mag by slapping an entirely new one in... every time. some games/weapons load individual rounds)?? For gun jams, obviously not often enough to be annoying, but another layer of chaos that actually happens. Do a quick slap-rack-pull to get back in the action. Survival games could include weapon maintenance... just a thought.
These are the TOP 25? They all look the same as every other game ever released? What makes them unique/different? How'd they get funding being carbon copies of every other FPS, TPS ever made?
I doubt all of these games have gotten any funding. These clips look like pitch videos to get that said funding. No gameplay at all, or unfinished gameplay. I wouldnt call these even a proof of concept.
V, Awakening and Lost Fragment are the ones I'm keeping an eye on. Especially Lost Fragment; seems powerful enough to beat Resident Evil and has some PT vibe to it.
@@yaseennoor6250haha, i didnt mean it in a bad way, i said it playfully, but in my opinion silent hill is still not as scary as resident evil, feel more blood rushes during resident evil games even the old ones, survival horror scares me more than typical (psycholotical) horror. I still love silent hill and its one of my favourite games, i just hate the hype it gets over some games if u know what i mean.
besides looking great, many of these have some repetitive gameplay already seen in past games, i dont see them having innovative game mechanics that are challenging or ingenious, the 1st one is the most creative but still, on the gameplay side it might just play itself like a multiverse "Sifu"
Practically all these projects depict an unrealistic, overly clean world. No clothing gets stained or dusty. Only 'Lost Fragment', because it uses textures provided by Epic, gives a sense of realism (except for the weapons, which also do not interact with the environment).
the unreal engine stuff looks cool and all...but what is a good looking game, when the game isn't fun? Make good games through good systems and then the best graphics you can after. What seems to be very commonplace is getting a visually stunning game that just sucks.
Some of them just look like ue5 projects that people created for learning ue5. Project Deniz is literally ALS with some hair physics bro wtf. And what the hell is Cyber Loop..
project condemned movement looks wierd tho 5:00 project M looks really good, and the action is there! 10:00 but to be honest, majority of these need to work hard or they will be compared to old titles
These games have a lot of graphics, but the gameplay is only about killing people or monsters in a more and more realstic way. Can't game designers imagine something else? WTF is wrong with them?
Man the fist game really irritated me I`m fed up with over the shoulder cam you are using melee combat than angle doesn`t work. I blame the stupid modern gow, because of it other developers are copying it like Dragon Age Dreadwolf and the Wolverine game, if the camera doesn`t zoom out when in combat then it will be horrible. On a positive note, the games that peak my interest are: Project Cyber Loop Project M (not a souls-like) Project DT Project Shadow of Mammon Project Jumun Project Deniz Project Enenra: Daemon Core 3rd person SHOOTERS and hack & slash games, my favourite, I love hack & slash games! Here are some H&S games you can check out: Yasuke A Lost Descendent Soulstice Valkyrie Elysium Wanted: Dead Etenights Stella Blade Project DT Project M Lost Soul Aside Phantom Hellcat Arise of Awakener Granblue Fantasy Relink Shred & Tear: Explosive Kajun SuperSimmer Astor: Blade of the Monolith These are the one I'm interested in, there are a lot more that are out there, H&S games are really fun to play and I'm so glad to see more of them. Shouts out to hack & slash games, they are making a comeback.
It's just called Project V, it's by Mintrocket, the makers of Dave the Diver iirc. But it's just a tech demo, they openly test and research game engines and this was the result for UE5 as far as I know, so I don't think it's a confirmed game so to speak, they're working on something else currently.
Agree - but the Lost Fragment is literally looks initially like VR project...not an ordinary AAA 3D shoter. Just have a closer look on the curved walls and gun tilt...view range is smaller than in normal games cause its VR demo captured from PC...Head view is not following the sight (aim mark - there is no aim on the screen, maybe VR helmet has it)
What's with all the killings? Lack of imagination if you ask me. Give me an exploration trip where groups can find hope in humanity and the future. Feed the good wolf.
