Lisa, the wooden square “candle holders” you upgraded are actually bed lifters. They are used to place under each bed frame leg to make your bed frame taller. But, very creative! I would never have thought of that and I have some in my stash.

Can we all acknowledge how Lisa does all these beautiful crafts on her buffet? Not in the garage or basement or craft room, right there in the beautiful part of the house! She does it so easily and neatly, I’m amazed. If I tried that, the room would be covered in glue, paint, fuzz. She makes it look so easy!

So fun to revisit these dupes. I loved them all but, my favorites were the box, the tray that can be used 2 ways (gorgeous!!), the velvet ribbon pillow, the candle holders (❤), the wreath and the table centerpiece. However, my all time favorite of the dupes, hands-down, is the cloches/nativity pieces!! So meaning,so beautiful and so ingenious! Your talent is out of the ballpark !! Danie! If that pillow looked any more less diy it would have ruined everything. It's perfect! It really makes the whole thing imo because it does look so handcrafted bc it IS handcrafted. Perfection. Now you know I can't do big projects like this anymore BUT I am inspired and I have 2 king-sized pillows that I don't use on my queen sized bed that are about to get hung from my iron headboard! I will make it work!

Lisa, you have beautiful style. Very classy, clean, crisp and polished. I do enjoy it very much. After a while, though, it becomes very monochromatic. You don't vary from your gold, blue, white, and beige schemes. Not being critical because as I said, it's classy, you are an excellent designer and decorator, I would love to see you venture into other schemes 😊.

Hello my sweet friend.....it was so much fun watching all of these amazing dupes! The one that really stood out for me was the clock. What a great idea, and I have tons of scrapbook paper! I was thinking how you could decoupage a wood round, add gold rub & buff around the edge, and use it as a riser or as a base for a cloche (I 'm thinking blue paper with a small print and displaying a solid white or gold item ). I love how you take thrift store items and turn them into stunning home decor. Wishing you and your family a wonderful weekend!❤

Amazing job on the dupes..ill definitely be replicating some of these dupes . It's hard to choose one favorite cause they're all fantastic. I typically use the bowls for decorative purposes. You could line the bowls with parchment paper or put a smaller bowl inside if you wanted to use them for food.

I was hoping you would use resin for the tray, it doesn’t seem stable that acrylic piece balancing on the lump flowers. It’s going to sink under heavier items and raise up on the other side.

I haven’t. I also spray a few coats of paint on my pieces. I think that helps a lot with bleeding prevention.

If you were going to put a cake on the cake stand wouldn’t you need to cover the flat surface with wax paper or something to keep the food off the paint?

The hot glue stays on very well. You would have to wash it with a damp cloth.
