To be fair, the world’s modern construction technology is better than what people hundreds of years ago had. Not the worst place for earthquake survivability
Because China lies right in the region where the Eurasian, Pacific, and Indian Ocean plates meet, it suffers from frequent earthquakes due to still active tectonic movements...
the short video is about the worst disasters, referring to the number of people killed in each one, the death toll in Japan's disaster was about 20 thousand, that's why is not in this list
@@ivannson you have patience to explain simple thing to impatient people who dont want to listen or read or see carefully. They just want to jump to conclusions blaming all. I used to do the same and stopped explaining. I dont have that much patience. You are great and kind.
@@Fireraidz Sorry I misread, I need to stop making youtube comments when I am half asleep. Reading it properly yes I have heard plenty of stories of how openly racist they can be, particularly in the regional areas. I have not experienced it personally. Apparently the relevant term for someone like me translates as "White devil", which is quite the amusing insult.
@@purexlilocrk (wow) what I meant was: You didn't need to SAY it was, your comment said it for you when you talked about your earthquake after the other commenter mentioned his earthquake , get it? like a competition, (geez, I can't believe I have to explain this to you..)😆, have a good one😊
You forgot the overpopulation and lack of infrastructure comparable to developed nations. The poor are verrrry poor and exposed to little protection in China. Throughout their history. Expendables. Those caves that collapsed? Tragic.
True but all of these disasters have had a lot more deaths then the tsunami in 2004 but the tsunami in 2004 still was a horrible event that caused so many to die for no reason
All these disasters somehow repeatedly convey that this Earth is not a permanent dwelling place. Seeing these massive destructions keeps on reminding the words "My home is in Heaven. I'm just travelling through this world.", Philippians 3:20 "But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there".
This is not talking about the height of tsunamis. This is talking about which natural disaster has killed the most people. Lituya Bay Tsunami Only Killed 5 People.
