Thumbs up! DIY without using too many sophisticated power tools, like those other videos I use to watch. You don't even need a welder! Yes there is always room for improvement, but the ones you built are more than just "proof of concept".
The price of these grinders is reasonable. Each of these mods would allow you to have many tools for the price of materials. Gaining fabrication skills while building each would just be icing on thr cake. Thanks for sharing.
Some really great ideas there my friend. Like going back in time where people made their OWN tools instead of paying loads of cash for something that isn't as sturdy. Thanks for sharing :)
1 ) the last video needs a recoil spring to return the grinder to non-working position. 2 ) the casing ( it is possible from rubber) for catching of sparks is Desirable.(metal particles ) So that they do not settle on the removed tubes and do not jam them.3) control of the grinding machine (on-off ) is better to make using the foot switch ( then hands are free to work with the part. And when you remove the leg, everything turns off. I have done so. Hi to all from Ukraine
thanks too much. What size, of square tubing are you using ? 1 inch, and 5/8, inside, or what ? i have 1 inch, and it is a very TIGHT fit, into a 1 1/4 inch tube...will not work. ??
welder / fabri-cobbler dropping in to say thanks for a cool video and the realization that i am definitely not getting the most out of my angle grinders
Sirs, I'm so glad your channel was recommended to me! These designs are excellent, especially the one for the 1" or 25mm sanding belt. I've been tempted to purchase the ones for sale but decided to wait and see if there was a design I could make that wasn't over-engineered like most are. Your design couldn't get any simpler and only has a few components. I'm heading to the steel store this week and will be buying the pieces needed. I have all of the nuts and bolts and just received a 3-pound bag of assorted sizes and types of springs that I won at auction. They only cost me $7.60 us dollars and I feel they are a great item to keep in stock for creating tools such as these. I checked out your website too hoping to purchase a materials list for the other items you have made and to my surprise you are not charging for the tutorials! You both are awesome!!! Count me in as a new subscriber!!!
And you have nothing else to do, or is this once again a statement to yourself that you are no worse than men? You better carry some rags and sew yourself a dress - that will be a better achievement for you!
молодец..самое главное что не применяется сварочные работы..есть дрель болгарка значить сможешь..ну руки что бы намести само сабой.. спасибо за видео...
