Springvale has been a fave since I was a little kid loitering around the station. Bun Bun is one of the long time faves when a Banh mi used to be 2 bucks. I was still eating Banh mi through the Salmonella scare days of the 90s.
You are a real banh mi lover!!! the banh mi inside of Springvale plaza opposite KFL Grocery store was amazing back in the day as well when it used to be $1.10 per roll 😊😊
@@dionandkimx $11-12 if you want that crispy roast pork goodness, Disappointing cause Bahn is praised for being an amazing product while not being expensive, Thanks Melbourne for ruining that 🙂 $1 is daylight robbery for there services
footscray Nhu Kan Banh mi is alright... but i like their pateso (pork pie) Just fine not too bad nor too expensive. I always love Vietnamese pork pie since when i was a kid. It's been so hard to find the best pork pie (pateso) now days compare to 20 years ago. glad you found my number 1 best banh mi store in Melbourne Phuoc Thanh. Not only the meat quality and portion are great that is the bread is the top notch. Soft crunch easy to bite and great taste of inside white cloudy mellow bread with banh mi stuffings it brings to another level of great taste. Been with them for least 20+ years.
@@dionandkimx phuc thanh's patiso is so bland taste and bit too thick and dry pastry. But Nhu Lan's patiso is better than phuc thanh though. There is the best patiso in footscray and St alban [Victoria Cake Shop] but their patiso is abit more oily. though is taste great and nice buttery pastry and meat stuffing is nice too. you should try out. When speaking of Banh Mi you also gotta try out Vietnamese's patiso pork pie.
Toi thích video của bạn. However, I really do not get the fuss about Bun Bun. I’ve had it twice in 10 years because of the busy lines and maybe the flavour is different because it caters to many Australians? Toi da dang ky RU-vid channel. Thanks!
Thanks for your comment, and for subscribing, we're really glad you enjoyed this video! Good point - our go-to for banh mi when we were growing up there wasn't Bun Bun. Do you have a favourite banh mi place?
@@dionandkimx Yeah I would say Phước Thành! However banh mì xíu mại from Tabac was pretty good from memory. However my favourite restaurants are Quan Lua in Springvale and Tan Thanh Loi in Footscray, but that is a whole new topic hehe. Can on ban nhiều!
