Thanks for video. I've been wanting to do tank again, but I couldn't bring myself to do sword and board again, so I'll give the great sword paladin build a try.
Will a strength/int build with the great sword work? Like if i add fire damage to my weapon and to my gear. For the 150int increase to elemental damage. Or dont
Glad to see you’re back!! I’ve been running greatsword with bow but I’m looking to change it up to either sword and shield or hatchet but now you have me leaning towards possibly life staff. I want to run a DPS build for mutated dungeons. Just getting my start into those. What would you suggest?
I have an interesting build idea Lemoni - A sword / shield and a lifestaff build. Still working out the details but the idea is to run trenchant recovery on the sword / refreshing move. You basically always want to have defenders resolve up, so having refreshing move / reverse stab to lower the CD is crucial. And ofc heavy attack everything to get the heal. use the lifestaff to apply fortify / heals. I think it could be unbeatable to solo farm elites.
I tested it out. Trenchant Recovery definitely sees great benefit to grit. I was running additional cooldown recovery, was able to get my defenders resolve to start at 38 second CD. Definitely super important to have fortifying scared grounds. pop orb / sacred grounds + defenders resolve, into a reverse stab and then slash away. If I could I'd replace trenchant strike with lifestealing. I'm running nature gem on my sword + hated on my shield. worked OKAY. def would be better with a carnelian gem + 300 strength for grit to secure the heal on trenchant recovery. overall tho it was really pog and it worked very well in dynasty, 600 gs.
For some reason my earlier comment isn't showing up... Sorry if it randomly shows back up! Really curious about the LS/GS build! How'd the group take you running that combo? This is the build I'm running for GS/WH tanking: (RU-vid seems to be removing my content because of this link? Will put in the replies...) I started with exactly yours, but found with a Refreshing Move sword I could always pop a Defiance ability when needed. Add in the utility+mobility of Relentless Rush paired with Adaptive Rupture for a little pull, and being able to pump more damage when safe/needed really rounded out the build for me.
Hey, welcome back!! Going rouge with that scruff beard look? I have missed your insight and veered away from life staff, hatchet, spear builds which I religiously followed your former video's on. Interested in greatsword and see where I go after watching this video.
I did testing with my firemage friend on T2 aquamarine gems vs T5 aquamarine Runeglass Dot gems… on average the Runeglass outperforms by about 200 damage. Only reason we did this is cause of the weird way T2s act with INT. Strangest thing is Heavy Crits only do like 80 more damage with a Runeglass as opposed to a T2… Runeglass DoT gems are better overall but cost for Damage T2 are still very good
I've been running something very similar to his tank build for my leveling/pvp but running a blunderbuss instead of life staff. might go hatchet though. loving my gs build
@@LemoniGames It's what I wanted to be at first on fresh start but after not finding any builds on it I was worried I was crazy for doing it so I switched lol.
i respect the lifestaff greatsword tank build but i really don't recomment it for mutas over 5... you will probaly get flamed for it when you even get in muta 5+ runs and if you fail them you could even get reported for that ....
