I love pomp. He convinced me to put all my life savings and my parents money into bitcoin. 20+ years and I have yet to see someone make a transaction with gold. And people have using BTC to buy things routinely for years. Crypto "currency" is a misnomer when referring to BTC, so its completely irrelevant anyway. As BTC is a store of value, scarce, digital property. Its like gold, but superior in literally every aspect. It just takes a lot of time for the clay brain masses to understand and adopt things.

That would imply a round trip back to pre halving price. In the past, bitcoin would typically end higher than where it started off. The 2021 bull run was cut short.

BTC performance over the last year has been impressive however we must remember it is basically unchanged from roughly four years ago. That is a fact. I am certainly happy I didn’t sell any Gold or Silver in order to purchase more. If it goes up I guess I would make a considerable sum however I find bit-coiners hard to stomach so would gladly lose it all just to see all the blood in the street.

Bitcoin shouldn't even be this high right now. It's way ahead of schedule if you go by all of it's previous 4 year cycles. Next year will be the true measure. The 4th year of the cycle. The parabolic up year.

@@jamiecharuk Humans generally fall in love with tangible assests. Land, homes, cars, art, jewelry, coins, etc... It's difficult to fall in love with Bitcoins. Ownership becomes an issue. This is also why many folks also avoid buying stocks & bonds. Finally, they don't understand crypto currencies and how they work.
