I have done some things similar to this but it was more electric guitar-focused and thus enforces other areas of emphasis. It hasn't taken long for me to be able to do these, but it immediately illuminated some areas that needed attention when playing nylon/acoustic material and has instantly made those pieces easier to play consistently. Fantastic session sir - greatly appreciate it!~
I have been playing guitar (blues, rock, metal, basic fingerstyle) for 13 years and then I started learning classical guitar. Downloaded guitar syllabus from RCM and went from grade 1 repertoire and progressed to the last piece I learned Evocacion by Jose Luis Merlin. The hardest thing in my path are small mistakes I make in playing, trying to learn too many pieces at once (Instead of Giulliani 120 right hand arpeggios I use arpeggios from future pieces I want to learn) and restrokes! Restrokes are unusual and not sure 100% how to perform them correctly.
