Hey. Yall get to settle that reeeeal soon. First game of the season for both teams. Billy just has alot more negativity surrounding him. Look up gavon dexter I think his name is. The NIL collective there. a parasite. They don't have their players best interests at heart. That's the difference in the coaches I've seen. If only mario could call games like Billy and only if Billy could recruit like Mario.
I said this earlier about Sam Pittman on Twitter; NO ONE wants to see him leave Arkansas on a bad note. No other HC after Petrino had Arkansas ranked in the Top 10 (albeit didn't end the season Top 10) 2 years in a row. No other HC won back to back Bowl games. Sam took all those players that didn't win a SEC game under Morris and had a 9 win season with them, with a 1st year QB. His flaw is he's proved he needs someone with HC experience to help him. Briles put him in a baaad position last season bailing on the Hogs & KJ, and Sam made a bad hire in Enos. He made a really good hire of Travis Williams and the Defensive staff. It was pretty good last year, just got overshadowed by how bad the offense was. I wouldn't say that Sam was forced to hire Bobby Petrino. Bobby wanted to come back here to right his wrongs, and Pittman wanted him here to coach the offense. He was there helping figure out the ways to get Bobby back in Fayetteville. Pittman has given full reins to Bobby on the offense, while he's been with Eric Mateos coaching the O Line. If there's improvement on that OLine, Taylen Green legs+Rushing attack, and the talent at WR/TE (Armstrong, Broden, Luke Hasz) is properly used under Bobby; that offense will be able to score on folks. Sam Pittman keeps his job if he brings a rivalry trophy back to Fayetteville, wins 1-2 of the Home games, or win a bowl game. No matter what, I will always respect Sam Pittman from bringing Arkansas Razorbacks out of obscurity. We had a very bad season in 2023; lets see what 2024 has in store.
Pittman's recruiting is terrible. Last year's class was ranked next to last in the SEC just ahead of Vanderbilt. This year's class is shaping up to be even worse. Opposing coaches are using his lame duck status against him. At least Chad Morris left him some players but Pittman isn't going to leave the next coach anything to work with. Sam Pittman can't get fired fast enough. Keeping a lame duck coach around for an extra year only hurts the program worse. Paying him $6 mil a year when he openly admits after games that he doesn't know what to do during key moments of games is embarrassing. The fact that Pittman couldn't even get a head coaching job anywhere else should tell you how qualified he is. He's definitely a decent genuine guy but shouldn't be in charge of running a program, especially one trying to compete in the SEC.
Billy going to shock some people this year the teams talent is underrated the progress and production is underrated I see 7 wins and a huge upset idk who it’s going to be but this teams got all the opportunity and when you break down the schedule there’s a lot of teams with question marks (new quarterback/new coach) all I’m saying is I wouldn’t be surprised if Florida gets 7-8 wins and one of those a top 10 team
If florida defense is healthy.. the gators will be 7-0/ 6-1 going into the Georgia game. Yes, i said it, and yes, I might be considered crazy. No, I'm not trolling, lol. I'm going to stick my neck out and believe that florida is not as bad as people think
I have them winning 7-8 regular season games, and then the possibility of a bowl game win. It’s very easy to see who are just haters, and who are just uneducated about the situation as a whole.
Sam Pittman should've been fired after last season. The university just didn't want to pay the ridiculous buyout in his contract that they gave him. Keeping a lame duck coach around another year is only hurting the program. Recruiting is terrible and certainly ain't going to get better.
