Loving these “Top 3” vids! I’m a member of your app, but these videos are super easy to understand & you still explain your “niche” of force, torque etc. Keep it up ❤️
Joe is one of the best out there when it comes to explaining things in layman terms. There are some other coaches out there who are good as well but it is very very hard to understand them. His app is pure gold, definitely a steal for the price. Love the workout builder and all the gems he drops there.
this is an awesome series man thanks for sharing going to write a new training plan with your knowledge! hope I can make some serious gains with this information thanks!!!
I love your content Joe, great work as allways! Its just a little sad that the video quality seems a little off. maybe thats a thing you can improve in the future.
I'm loving this series! I hope you end up covering all the major muscle groups. Quick question though, how do dumbbell presses fit well from a profile standpoint? You mentioned that as you were discussing them.
They are pretty good. They don't load the shortened position though, so you are missing a little bit of the contractile range, but that is what the flye is for.
Really enjoyed the fly portion. Particularly that you can rotate your hand. Have always struggled with shoulder pain during dumbbell flies and gonna try rotating next time to alleviate some of that.
That roller on cable fly is f*cking gamechanging. I'm using this for more than 6 months and its so good! However, i liked the most reverse band incline smith press from your previous recommendation :)
I even think uor chest muscles even developed to work like an incline angle or decline, is like if you standing tall and pushing something you gonna fall back, on the other hand if lets saý you push a track and bending little bit to get the power of your legs and arms mimics the incline position
What would be your top 3 overall exercises if you were stuck on a island per say. Like top bread and butter can’t miss exercises?? Thx bro. Your content is very educational and helpful
What do you mean by «machines can’t be anabolic»? English is not my first language. Should I always prioritze freeweights over machines? Thank you so much for your vids coach 💪🏼
So just back to the gym love chest day can you show me some good technique and good body movements I know I have to build up to more weight but I want to have good technique then grow in weight
Thanks Joe! I have a pretty bad right shoulder impingement where it hurts when I dumbell incline press. Do you have any suggestions on how to rehab this at home? I am able to push through the movement but it’s not very comfortable at all. I don’t want to have to stop pressing completely but is this necessary? It hurts where the side delt meets the bicep in the side of the arm. I’m pretty sure it’s impinged. Thanks for any advice you have. I’ve tried pronating the wrists and it’s still not helping much.
I can’t diagnose/prescribe anything over RU-vid. But try tucking your upper arm a bit/more neutral grip. Also check out my mobility program. Good routines and concepts that could help: www.hypertrophycoach.com/product/the-mobile-meathead/
Surely a machine fly would be a really great chest exercise as the fixed nature of it allows you to exert a lot of force whilst still isolating pecs? Is there a reason why you might recommend a bench press type movement over a machine fly if all you want to do is grow the chest?
