The way you view "v8 is better than v6" is truly infantile lol Americans are the only people that act like that. Your logic of more cylinders being better isn't really true; a nissan GTR is a 6 cyl, supra is a 6 cyl, the new Ford GT is a 6 cyl, but "v8 is better" because some guy with a fox body in 91 told you so.
I'll prove it; my 2018 Camaro is a v6. My 99 camaro is an ls1 v8. My v6 camaro is faster, and it's also faster than the 5.7 liter hemi chargers and challengers.
After binge watching these videos I wish I could experiment with different kinds of mufflers, glass packs, and welding locations to get a good sounding v6
I used to have a '14 3.7l mustang, I ran a couple different exhaust setups in my hunt to find the best sounding and my final setup that I ran for years was bbk shorty headers, stock cats, off road h pipe with roush axle-back mufflers. Kid you not it sounded great ! the headers gave it deep rumble and the non restrictive roush mufflers let it scream loud ! oh and it also backfired upon downshift lol miss that little v6 :/
I have the '17 v6 mustang with muffler delete. Sounds good....only drawback is the noise in the cabin...pretty loud in gears 1-4 when you get up to 3k-4k rpm. I have the m6.
V6 is the car to buy if you want to learn to drift/abuse the car on and off the track. Nobody buys manuals anymore and if they do they want a GT. These babies push 300hp and sell for dirt cheap with a manual. Fuck an old V8 demands too high. Get yourself a cheaper V6 for a toy.
Awesome video, I run a cat back that has a mid muffler setup for mine and it’s honestly perfect for me, really brings out the sound without being super loud or obnoxious. When we took off the stock exhaust I started the car staging out of the cats, loud as hell. I revved it to about 4500 rpm and heard a loud pop when I let off the throttle, must be interesting to run the car like that with no muffler.
I have Roushe axel backs with a straight pipe in place of the resonator and it sounds aweful when I open throttle I’m currently trying to figure out what’s wrong any idea?
@@lukehostetter9354 bro same here I don’t know what the f is going , like i may just go muffler delete and sell the roush cuz it sound awful fr 😂 not loud at all
We have all sinned and fallen short of Gods glory and we all deserve hell but Jesus Christ Gods perfect sent son died on a cross so we don’t have to go there and we can now be saved by grace through our faith in him
@@-Sam69 didn’t say you did. You implied if you can’t afford a hellcat buy a 4 or 6 cylinder. I said, in air quotes, muscle/sports car (whatever they call them now). Maybe I misread you don’t know, don’t care. Most of the cars on here slap and aftermarket exhaust, or delete the exhaust, on a 4 or 6 cylinder and it sounds like 💩. I’ve heard a few 6 cylinders that sound decent with other mods and an exhaust.
1st one Sounds like a 1990 Honda hatchback.. too much vibration 2nd one sounds the same. The 3rd sounds best except when u Rev too much it's that Honda sound still
True dual means the 2 exhaust never connect they Truly never merged therefore you can not say x pipe and true dual together in the same sentence because an x pipe ,y pipe ,hpipe and etc all merge at some point The only true dual car was the last on
I bought a mustang v6 and it came with a bullet instead of a catalic converter,do I need to install a catalic converter for the check engine light to go off?
Damn you know I just bought a 2016 V6, I’m 20, I live in Jackson TN I think ima make a drive up and I want exactly what you did on that last mustang, resonator and muffler delete, what’s your address and how much does something like cost?
What kind of dB are you seeing from X-pipe (stock cats) with aftermarket mufflers (Roush, Borla, etc...). I want the higher tone from an X-pipe, but don't want it to be obnoxiously loud over axle-backs alone + stock H-Box. Also, that X-pipe in your description appears to be wrong. Stock H-box is 2.25", and X-pipe is advertised as 2.5"
It’s a shame that Ford sadly ended the production of the V6 engine itself, unless people get the 2024 version and engine swapped it with the 6 cylinder itself, but I don’t think it’s ever gonna happen at all
Could anyone tell me what type of exhaust tips those are on the first car the red one? Where can I buy or find ones like those? I recently bought Borla Atak catback exhaust for my v6 and it leaves a lot to be desired in the noise department but it’s apparently supposed to be the loudest exhaust they make for that car
I had the x pipe and borla stinger and it was terrible! The borla stingers became raspy paired with an x pipe BUT, I got myself some Borla Ataks and it sounds sooo good now. The borla atacks make it deeper than the stingers odly.
@@crisangelafanador557 My Grand Marquis has long tubes, high flow, h-pipe cats, stingers, and 3.5" chrome tips and they are not raspy at all. It is all the tailpipe has that take some of the bite out of them. Ataks would be too raspy for my setup.
On the first mustang.....he used the wrong tips those would be used on a truck not a mustang..... I've never seen anyone tack tips before.... not very professional....
Sad they sound like a ricer car the mustangs look great but they sound like a Honda with a racing muffler. SAD JUST SAD. My 93 mustang sounds like what a muscle car suppose to sound like
