My grandma is Nicaraguan I been there twice to Jinotepe ,Ticuantepe, Masatepe, Diriamba, Masaya, Managua, Granada, La Sombra, San Marcos, San Juan Del Sur, Catarina, Matagalpa it’s such a beautiful country and I miss it with all of my heart 💙🇳🇮🇳🇮
Jayson Garcia ok come to think of it that sounds super familiar 🤔🤔I know my aunt has definitely talked about it. Is there lots of beautiful plants that they sell there? Or is that just everywhere? 🤣🤣 I may or may not have been there lol
When I saw the video title, I had a proud moment because my family is from Nicaragua! Thank you for this video!! 😍😊 Thankful that my mom and my grandma are still alive and live close by. Ever since moving from Miami to Colorado, I can go to them for a Nicaraguan Dish. Honduran cuisine is the closest thing 🤣😅 If anyone can open a fritanga out in colorado, sería la primera en ir con mi familia and I'd be so freaking grateful.🙌
coming from someone that has nicaraguan roots, this is nice to see hence we don’t really get represented as much or people don’t really know about us. 😘 #managuanicaragua
Gallo pinto! When I went to Nicaragua with my fam for a month they said that I would be sick of Gallo pinto cause we would eat it everyday. Well that never happened! I can eat it forever
Thanks for the restaurant recommendation! I will stop by the next time I’m in Miami. For those of us who don’t live in Miami, there are Nicaraguan restaurants in St. Louis, Missouri, and Atlanta, Georgia. We always try to visit Nica restaurants when we travel. Some are good, and some are not so good. If anyone has any recommendations in the States, please share. 💙🇳🇮
Hi! I love your video! Could you do one with a slide show of food and places of Nicaragua and Nicaraguan music for preschoolers!! Pls! Thank you so much!! 💖
(but the suggestion for the madrono is always churrasco with gallos pintos, maduros, queso frito and a Tona. Our beer). There's a Sedanos next door where you can grab an 8 pack of those for home because trust me youre going to want to.
Im half salvadorian and nicaraguan but i dont know much food on my dad's side. I have eaten vigaron before as well as that fried cheese. I personally like yuca deep fryed
The ppl who own madroño in sweetwater are from the same small town in matagalpa my family is from my dad always takes forever when he goes to pick up food talking with the owner & the workers there
All three dishes looked really good I'm Puerto Rican and they look similar to Puerto Rican food I would love to taste this food but fortunately I'm a vegan now but I would have really loved to try cuz it doesn't look really good👍😍
Last year in Sept. I was told by a 65 yr old Nicaraguan, in Managua, Nicaragua that if anyone serves me a plate of vigoron without a banana leaf at the bottom, it's not Vigoron! And, that nobody should tell me any different!
