Great video. Thanks Mia. A question that’s possibly better answered by your coach as these are mainly for a trail arm dominant player (which is for the majority). What I’d be interested in is any differences a lead arm strong player needs to focus on.
Great info. I loved this video. I'm so jealous, Mia. I have made gains doing this kind of training over the past few months, but I can't get my speed up there like you just yet. My average normal swing is like 93 or 94, and my peak speeds are more like 98. Well done!
my swing has been getting shorter. I really liked the left handed follow through. I got it straight away and picked up quite a bit of speed, so thanks that is a really good drill for me.
Glad you added the 'go to the gym option and get strong' option at the start. So many viewers are stuck in the youtube loop of thinking physical ability has nothing to do with it.
@@StoneyMaloney1 Well, it was Mia herself that said putting on muscle. More specifically it's the physical ability to generate speed and power. Strength is only a part of that.
I don’t think there was enough attention to Mia’s conditioning. Clearly has very strong legs. As Jack would say, the power is in the legs and of course the proper sequencing. Nice video.
Ballstriking, short term can likely get much more distance slowing it down and learning to strike the ball properly and transfer the clubs energy to the ball efficiently. She already has the striking. That's the smash factor she has on the data. Shot in the dark: most newer players that swing fast and hit short are over the top, swinging out to in, cutting across the ball, transferring little energy, and slicing everything. If so figure out how to swing more in to out, more on plane, and compress the ball.
Interesting video. Can’t quite reconcile all that effort with the players who seem to have effortless swings but hit it a mile e.g Fred Couples, Ernie Els, not to mention Jimmy Bullard! Seemingly no effort at all but 300 yard result.
