As great as George Mikan was, he certainly didn't dominate for over a decade. He had 6 high-level years in the NBA. There is no doubt that John Stockton was a model of consistency and longevity. But he never finished higher than 7th in MVP voting, and his performance tended to dip in the playoffs. I see him as a player that's either just in the top 30, or just outside it. As for Kawhi, I think he has an incredibly high peak. In important playoff moments, he has showcased some of the best two-way play in NBA history. However, his career has been plagued by injuries, so I understand why someone might give the edge to a more consistent performer like Stockton. Personally I was debating between Kawhi, Pippen, Chris Paul and Stockton for that last spot

Mbappe is a great player. By the end of his career, he will almost certainly be among the top 30 football players ever

The reason why Ronaldinho is ranked a bit lower is due to his lack of longevity. At his peak, he was undeniably brilliant, but most of the players above him maintained their high level of performance for much longer. As for Kobe, I can definitely see an argument for placing him closer to the top. I think the spots between 4th and 12th in NBA rankings are extremely close. My main criticism of Kobe is his inefficiency compared to other greats. And while people often default to him having five rings, he was only the best player on his team for two of those championships. I believe both Ronaldinho and Kobe's careers get slightly overrated because they are such popular and likeable athletes, but that's of course just my opinion
