its hard to see how torches can get any brighter or even need to be any brighter than these 4. The immanent MS18 is the pinnacle of torch technology pushed to its highest limit. The fact its needs high powered fans on it to keep it from blowing up tells me that until a new light technology evolves, this is about the best you are going to get and or ever need. Love my Acebeam X70. Think the build quality is better than the Imalent and will last longer. Have had problems with 2 of the Imalent flashlights I’ve owned.

amazing flashlights. Not sure that brighter is always better. At least not through the camera recording them. The ligher settings seemed better in most cases. :)

For super torches I dont rate the XM80GT, the Imalent DX80 puts out more light, these companies also "claim" they put out that many lumens, for EG: the MS18 puts out 100,000 in the first milli second and then drops to 70,000. Still amazing, great comparison shots too.

I'd love to get the IMALENT MS18 but I can justify the cost of it. I once had a car that I put air craft landing lights, at least that's what I was told they were, anyway there was one street light that I new about that had the correct angle of the road, that when I turned them on, I had to wire directly to the battery, they could 'turn off' the street light because of the brightness. I'd bet that these could do that too, if the electric eye was located where you could shine the light on it.

The MS 18 is the zenith of current cree led technology. The technology with have to adapt to produce less heat if the lumens are to continue to rise in flash lights. i have a MS18 and its everything that the adverts and testimonials say. its a light monster and a potential fire starter

2020?? IMO the best flood still the X80. And the Best throw still the K75 or W30. Acebeam should combine both X80 and K75 together to make the new X75 for 2020, with the power of X80 flood and throw of K75.
