I think analyzing all of this is interesting,it COULD also be depressing,to SOME,but its still the reality of the current world; Heres a few examples of why ALL jobs are going to become obsolete for humans,EVENTUALLY,SOME sooner than earlier, but also keep in mind, these technologies are only going to get better/more efficient/more effective and these things are already possible, so the likeliness of a robot, not being able to do your job and not being able to do your job better than you as well,is really low/its inevitable for humans to become obsolete, when it comes to needing humans, to accomplish tasks, heres some examples of whats been shown/used,Sophia an AI Robot,Artemis Robot,Boston Dynamics Robots, this company has contracts with Darpa,Miso Robotics, this is a company that makes fast food cooking robots, such as Flippy, CookRight and Sippy; Also warehouse technology robots, like Toyota's Autonomous Forklift,Squid,Max AI Visual Identification System,Autonomous Mobile Robots AMRs,Handle Robot,SuperPick Polybag Picking System,Starship Technologies,Kiwi,Robo Mart,TeleRetail,Scout Robot; Construction robots like BAUBOT,OKIBO,Hilti JAIBOT,Dusty Robotics,ULC Robotics,Built Robotics; Also medical robots like The da Vinci Surgical Robot, also other companies like Edge Innovations, ABB Ltd,FANUC,Epson,KUKA,Staubli, just to name a few. A LOT of jobs/workers are becoming obsolete/cashiers,warehouse workers/line workers, construction workers/the self driving field is accomplishing A LOT right now too/Elon Musk,is missing a key component/technology, and thats lidar; Also the U.S. military has had autonomous planes for decades,so pilots are Becoming likeobsolete as well. A LOT can be prepped at night for construction workers/machines can be ran at night, also window installing and cleaning bots are a thing now as well. Also autonomous agricultural bots/robots are a thing now as well. Drs MAY become obsolete as well/their jobs could/will eventually be taken over by AI/ bots/bots ALREADY do A LOT of surgery, such as Coronary artery bypass ,cutting away cancer tissue from sensitive parts of the body ,such as blood vessels, nerves, or important body organs,Gallbladder removal, Hip Replacement, Hysterectomy,Kidney removal, kidney transplant,Mitral Valve Repair,Pyeloplasty ,surgery to correct ureteropelvic junction obstruction,Pyloroplasty,Radical Prostatectomy,Radical cystectomy,Tubal ligation. This is happening more and more NOW too, Brick and Mortar is some what going away/ more stores will either close and open up a distribution center or become a distribution center, door dash will handle that, AND AT SOME POINT, Door Dash will be FULLY AUTONOMOUS as well/the vehicles will be self driving and robots will load and unload the vehicles, Door Dash MAY NOT be the ending company/the only company doing this, BUT a company/companies will be doing this. Probably SOON employees that unload trucks, stock shelves, truck drivers, should go next, because of self driving vehicles and arms, connected to vehicles, which will drop the package out, once the vehicles in position or an autonomous drone or some other type of robot, will make the delivery. Also think about how much a human can lift, if lucky, you MIGHT get one that can lift 250 pounds, a robot could lift 1000pounds, robots don't need breaks, as often/they can charge up, while another one replaces them, they don't get paid/need money, they don't get sick, they don't have feelings or rights/its a machine, so basically its easier to deal with, also at some point they will be fixing them selves; Or another bot/robot,will fix/maintain/repair and so on,other robots/EVENTUALLY they will be able to fix them selfs or another bot will aid in repairing them/other robots. Electricians MIGHT be okay, well, MAYBE for a little while, I mean think about it, how hard is it, to see colors/distinguish green/ground,White/Neutral,Red and black/hot/a camera paired with AI or even just IFTTT and a camera, could handle that, also electricians ALREADY consult machines/voltage meters, to diagnose problems/figure things out/ALL of that could be on a machine/bot and be handled MUCH quicker/more efficiently/effectively, with a bot. Auto mechanics MAY be the next to go, especially if bots, could get in tight places easier/sync with the whole car/have a diagnostic reader on board, lift an entire engine/the whole car, on its own/vehicles are already assembled by robots/vehicle manufacturing plants use robots for, painting, welding, assembly, and material handling,ALREADY/An average car has about 30,000 parts. Once those parts are manufactured and brought to the final production line, it takes companie's robots about 18 to 35 hours to produce one mass-market vehicle, from welding to full engine assembly to painting, another example of all of this is Tesla/ to meet Tesla's uncompromising production goals, Musk settled on an equally uncompromising production strategy, full automation, no ifs, ands or buts. The goal was to remove every single human operator and only stop when the facility looked like an alien spaceship, according to musk/these are musks words. This is a semi comprehensive list of obsolete jobs/fields right now, that are obsolete, eventually everyone will be obsolete though,at least in the sense that a robot can do your job better than you can, from a practical stand point; Machines/robots/Automation/AI could easily ruine/destroy the economy/push society/people/humans to a moneyless society/to socialism or force people to revert back,or become more self reliant/people would need to raise their own farm animals, grow their own plants/make their own clothes/things/trade may be needed more as well, the honest truth is,all of these companies are putting them selfs out of business as well/they probably think that,if they don't release Chat GPT/a GPT/AI competitor, they will fall behind/become obsolete as a company, but at the same time, NO ONE will have any money to buy services/products,so no one can pay for a subscription and ad revenue won't work, because no one will have money to buy products,so theres no point in advertising, also rich people's money/generational wealth only lasts so long,if its not replenished, also honestly every employee/human hired,is a potential profit/those employees will purchase your products,if not yours, someone elses employee will purchase your products,IF your products are in demand,if there not in demand, you have a bigger problem, than people not having money to buy your products,Machines/AI/Robots don't need your products and these machines also have to be purchased by companie owners/it might sound appealing right now,to spend one minimum wagers yearly earnings on a machine, that can replace all of your hired employees, but EVENTUALLY if everyone's replaced and rich people's/generational wealth runs out,you will no longer be able to sell your products, because no one has money to buy them, obviously eventually it will be all jobs,at least until rich people/business owners realize this and decide humans are the better investment, but heres the list for right now, of jobs that will be going away/jobs that are obsolete. Hi friends!! I hope you all enjoyed this video. I have been really enjoying learning more about future technologies and how they could impact our jobs. More importantly how to best continue to level up and ensure we are prepared for the technologies! Leave in the comments any questions or comments you have! Also make sure to subscribe and like for more tech, career and coding related content!
Hi Tiff, I'm your new fan, please reply to my comment. I love watching your videos, especially your voice is so beautiful and your style of speaking. I love it ♥
Multiple attempts to contact you per your instructions and even beyond. You seem genuine, authentic, and not experiencing megalomania episodes. I even offered to pay for a brief consult as I know you are quite busy. I have found no content, as of yet, from any content producer that answers my questions. I have received nary even a precursory, 'kick rocks and just keep watching, you'll eventually learn IF you want to, pal." It is likely more probable than not, the years of nefarious low-dose arsenic, plus other unknown heavy metals markers in lab reports suggest, cost me 20-40 IQ points and cognitive functioning. At least I am no longer patch-dark blind and able to walk sans assistance. Evil walks amongst most all decent humans, and proudly in the USA.
Great video. Love that you mentioned jobs relating to ethics as the tech industry has a pretty terrible track record on that front. Some other thoughts: 1/ The big thing that is often underestimated about IoT is the role of data. Specifically, these devices generate enormous amounts of data, but making that data *actionable* is hard. I think Data Science, Data Analysis and Data Visualization will all be huge career paths. 2/ I totally agree that cybersecurity cannot be fully automated. One of the biggest causes of cybersecurity failures is people doing dumb things. AI can probably help speed up responses to incidents and automate/improve defensive practices, but I definitely see a role for human-in-the-loop. 3/ Quantum Computing has been out of the news lately, mostly because AI is the hot new thing. But it's definitely going to upend a whole bunch of things (not least of all encryption). 4/ Also out of the news, but potentially huge, is nanotech. There is a *lot* going on there that doesn't get publicly talked about. P.s. For anyone keen to know, Qubit (short for quantum bit) is usually pronounced cue-bit.

I tried learning coding, was not very successful but I am still fascinated with technology. I can do my little things here and there, even made a C# unity platformer game. However I am very far from your skills. It's so great there are girls in tech like you who are not only smart, but funny and beautiful! Real inspiration for other girls too 😊
This made my day. Thank you for your kind comment!! I really appreciate it. Yes even without tons of coding skills there is so much to explore and learn with tech!!
Now we have photonic chips that process one million qubits. Last year and entire room was filled with a large bulky machine that struggled to process 40 bits at once.Besides that the machines needed to be cooled at below 0. Now we can do incredibly more at room temperature.
Quantum computing will be a game changer. It's kind of mind blowing to think about being able to have simultaneous and hypothetical variables, trillions of them a second. It may take a while to fully understand and be able to utilize that.
1. Quantum Computing 2. AR/VR 3. Advanced Robotics 4. IOT - Cybersecurity *For Robotics or VR hardware you need to have IOT knowledge. According to me 2 more fields are : 1. Nanotechnology 2. Biotechnology Anyone interested in learning these along with me?
thank you! Really appreciate that, I always try to spend a lot of time doing research and providing as much value as possible. Hope you are having a great day btw!
Personally I use ChatGPT as my personal editor, which I have no shame in, as many people use editors for their everyday endeavors. Outside of this, when learning and working on new topics ChatGPT helps speed up my research on topics.
Sorry, I'm not trying to downplay your video or anything but the robots used in NYC have been in the market for years and honestly we never saw them going inside the garage that collapsed in the middle of the city. They were just a publicity stan by the NYFD as they also showed their drones. Their mini drones were actually used inside the garage and they did send video to NYFD personnel. In case of a fire where the structure is relative intact and the building is engulfed in smoke these robots might work but they're limited by the current technology. Obviously, robots, cameras, radars, infrared cameras, sensors, software all of these need to improve so jobs in these areas will increase in time. Good video.
Maybe clean tech or climate tech such as carbon free energy, grid energy storage and carbon dioxide removal are the example of the future emerging technologies
Very useful !!! Amazing Presentation! I watched this wonderful video together with my students. We liked it very much. 🧡Thanks for sharing ! 🙏🌷John from Mini Software for Learning (New Subscriber)
I am currently studying digital media technology to get into web development. Is this still worth it? Because at this point I am considering dropping out and learning a trade instead...
I believe the thing to keep in mind about quantum computers is that they work well for certain types of problems and not so well for more conventional computing. You won’t see quantum computers on desktops running excel for instance. I believe that A.I. will change the world for most engineers. This is not to say the convergence of quantum computing and A.I. won’t create astonishing new categories of technology. I just see most engineers learning new ways of programming. Imagine defining your data to a computer in English, and then conveying your needs to the computer in English and it will do the actual low level coding. Programming languages as we know them may disappear all together. We might be looking at the beginning of the end of coding in general. I would think that computers might return to machine language.
I think you are on to something, on ai safety. We have devOps we have develops noe theirs a new role devAsOps. (Development Artificial Safety Operations) love your videos eye openning
Metaverse not on the list... I fully agree. In terms of technologies that will heavily affect the job market, I would add 3D printing, blockchain, and autonomous vehicles to the list. I would also like to add that there are dark sides of technology as well. For instance, deep fakes already bother public opinion and influence journalism and public media in a negative way - and it will only get worse and more chaotic in time.
yea as a person who study in AI and its hardware and in quantum computing and its evolving hardware. people just dont know how much it is doing to help make our lives better and easier, also AI are helping us discover new medicines and methods to find more effective ways to battle climate change and the environment super fast and in ways we have never thought of before. AI and quantum computing will boost our lives 30x in knowledge and in lifespan. what we have now is only ANI, and even with just ANI, AI supercomputers makes it even better and smarter than humans, but one day, once AGI is finally reached, humans would be only on par with AI.
What you should be afraid of is the military industrial complex, take it from an engineer who backed out a defense contracting job over demands to sign 21 different NDA’s, seriously, what project would warrant such a feat? I sometimes honestly regret my education due to some of the things I’ve seen in industry.
Tfff, spot on with your future analysis. You would be a great technology psychologist. Hell, that may be a new job in the future. The key here from perspective is how it is going to be used on a daily basis. You are spot on about the ethical and legal unknows. Oh boy grey area here. Will the bad guys find ways to cheat, steal, and lie. You bet they will. There will always be the dark greedy side of technology. Make a quick buck etc. Good long term analysis Tiffy. Keep up the good work.
Thank You Tiffany!! 😇Your videos are full of information. After watching you explain i really know now that we have to upskill ourselves and have to be open to learn. 💯💯can you shed some light on What are some emerging trends in AI that could impact the future of data science? It will be helpful as i am in a learning phase. 🤔🤔
Quantum computation harnesses the power of an infinity of parallel universes to do all kinds of witchcraft. Been listening to Max Tegmark’s Our Mathematical Universe….and learning about level 1-4 parallel universes and other really strange concepts. He mentions in the book how quantum computers work regarding de coherence and parallel universes.
I tried learning coding and changing the world with a tech start up. Now I’m a boring freelancer. That’s it. It’s hyper competitive and hard but I guess that’s the future of every job. The economy sucks. Think we need a better economic system.
We are at the point where we should consider if any of these upcoming technologies will actually make life better.... Our technological advances has been destroying our planet.
Cybersecurity is the most underfunded group in big companies and the first to be blamed when something goes wrong, definitely a setup for a bad career move/choice
Have enjoyed watching your videos a lot lately. Really enjoy the “code with me” style vids. But also - Go Riders!!! Much better than the stamps hat I saw in other vids.
Great video, tks :) although I think that one subject that is a base for most of these things and is so easy to underestimate since it's not exactly a tech matter.... Math! I'm a developer for 12 years now, and I have to say, now I dedicate my days to study every day 1 hour of math. No preconceptions... Just studying and reviewing things, learning new stuff and knowing that the base for the future (or at least a considerable piece of it) will be math. Only area that will not be directly affected by advanced math knowledge is the one you not mentioned and for me is the real future that nobody is talking about..... Biotech. You can research... There's already in test phase, a battery that generates incredible amounts of energy that is built with fungi.
If you don't already Lex Fridman podcasts on RU-vid are probably the best when it comes to theoretical and philosophical technology discussions. I could recommend three or four specifically about AI that are absolutely mind blowing.
scientist usually say quantum computers are nothing like normal computers and that normal computers are better at doing the things they are built for compared to quantum computers and as far as I know they haven't found anything useful that quantum computers can do. Apparently its very hard to build applications that take advantage of the abilities of quantum computers.
One thing you should notice is that many AI start-ups are big on claiming that they’re creating something based on high morals. That’s easy to state on a website. We’ll see it they actually do that. I’m old enough to be pessimistic.
Hi Gal .... I invent stuff , from kitchen gadgets to renewals related stuff . I need chat GPT to help me visualize the discription I give it to him ! Basic visualization (lets say with using playground AI ) and going detailed with CAD / Blender ! Can you help ?

Quantum computers doesn't means it's quick! I needs to stress that. It's not quick. It's another way to do things. Doesn't mean quick, but Yes. For some problems it's quicker to use quantum computers. Sometime swimming across river can be a quick way to go place A to Place B but it's not always true for every scenario. Running can be faster most cases. Yet, being able to swim can be handy in some cases. Quantum computers are like that.
there's a doomsday scenario ala Terminator primed from this. But I'm with you, Tiff. This whole development is a great opportunity for the human race to skip centuries in terms of advancement. I envision everything being tech augmented and automated. Not machines taking over our lives but making our lives easier. Everyone working, not because they need to but because they want to. Food and resources created and managed to optimum as required and there's no poverty, conflicts and general oppression in our human societies. (The emerging tech is proving possible) But as long as there is a culture of class and competition, this is looking like doomsday racing towards us. And included is my opinion on AI-controlled cyber security. Robot cops? I mean c'mon!!!
have you checked out this video with a cybersecurity engineer from Amazon? I chatted with her a while ago and it might be helpful ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cIRQZmCLENs.html :)
They are called que bits !! And I think your focusing to much on quant compute A better technology to look at is photonic computing. IOT is already a thing we just need IPV6 And AR will not take off as much as you think. The only thing I’ll agree about is AI
@@TiffInTech Quantum computing in its current state is in it's infancy IMHO. When compared to modern computing, that was developed and was in it's infancy over 80 years ago, quantum computing is also in its infancy. The first major design that we are currently using today is called the Von Newman architecture. This was designed in 1945. Over the years major developments took place using mechanical devices to do computation, those devices and the most expensive CPUs today use the same Von Neumann architecture. Not too long ago Google claim to have something called quantum supremacy, the kind of break through we were looking for, but IBM said it was nonsense, a farse. Quantum supremacy is when a quantum computer is able to do a computation faster than a Von Neumann computer. Well I am definitely no expert in quantum computing, but I think the way that the physical aspects of a quantum computer is designed, is still terse and cumbersome, having refrigeration to reduce noise and all that. Right now they're having difficulty getting results from a computation. The process of probing the results destroys the data. They try to use something called entangled particles to query the data, but that doesn't seem to work properly. An analogy of me probing a result from a quantum computation, It's like me giving you a computation, on a calculator, you don't come back to me automatically, so I have to tap you on the shoulder to get your attention and the result, no problem right, but imagine my finger tip is a mile wide.
@@TiffInTech You know, and this is based on my last comment, and once again I'm no expert, One of the first things I learned about quantum physics, is the observer effect. The observer effect suggest that trying to observe a quantum particle affects the particle in such a way that we would never be able to observe on know it's true nature. Or you will not know what is truly like but trying to observe it makes it into one thing or another. So I don't see how after you've sent some command to do a quantum calculation, how you are going to get the results. I really don't know enough about this topic but the approaches they are taking is kinda mind-boggling. I think in the end they are going to take some ideas of the quantum field, and the Von Neumann field and merge it somehow.

I don't think so, with blockchain boom there will be decentralized video sharing platforms and no one would like to see multiple ads before actual content. Or else yt will change to survive.
Repent time is short trust God ALMIGHTY and believe in Jesus Christ. Pray, the bible says in the end lawlessness will abound, natural disasters will increase in frequency and severity, wars and rumours of wars increase, many will be religious but deny it's true power in Christ Jesus, the love of many will grow cold, children will be disobedient to parents, it even prophesied that disease will increase, and Israel will be gathered together and become a nation again,...it's all happening exactly as God ALMIGHTY told us through his prophets and Christ Jesus (Yeshuah ha MASHIACH is his hebrew name) the savior of the world to all who believe repent and trust him follow Jesus time is short. Love God love eachother follow Jesus and pray.
