Check out michaelkummer.com/health/red-light-therapy-benefits/ for more information about the benefit of red light therapy and links to in-depth reviews of the products I mentioned in this video.
I recorded this video already a while ago and have since also reviewed FlexBeam - see ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FRf92LJVGek.html. And I'm getting the new SolaWave wand...
Several reasons...the Solawave session takes only five minutes and the device fits into her vanity drawer (so no clutter). She also likes how the wand feels in her skin. Our MitoPro panel is in my office on a rolling stand and each session takes 15-20 minutes and she'd have to wear goggles or close her eyes. Bottom line: Personal preference. The wand is more convenient for her and easier to integrate into her evening routine. Makes sense?
@@MichaelKummer Interesting. I had assumed that 5 minutes with the panel would give more than 5 minutes with the wand, since it covers the whole face at one time. I have a hand held red light (LightStim) that calls for 3 minutes for each section of the face. Was considering a face mask as an upgrade, but just got a panel instead so I can do larger/other body areas.
@@kimberlyf4888 The thing with light is that distance from the source to the tissue is critical. I think Solawave can get away with shorter session times because there is no variation in distance between the wand and the skin (you have to remain in contact). There is nothing wrong with larger panels but you might have to experiment a bit with optimal session times and distance from the panel to your face.
on the mito red you mention it not performing as well for deeper tissue penetration, but you also show a photo of you sitting two feet away where the irradiation is probably less than 50mW cm2. research papers suggest 100mW cm2 as the therapeutic level needed so you just need to get closer. I do like the Solio features but wish it could do back easier. Thanks for the video. good stuff.
@@MOVIEKICKS Have you read the first half of my comment (the device was developed for knee issues)? It should go without saying that a device developed for treating knee issues conforms to the knee :)
@@MichaelKummer The Novaa Lab Deep Healing Wrap completely covers the knee. Your Kineon Move+ Pro only covers targeted areas of the knee. The Novaa Lab wrap puts out irradiance power of 200mW / cm^2. How much irradiance power does the Kineon Move+ Pro put out?
@@MOVIEKICKS The Kineon Move+ Pro offers 750 mW/cm2, but that's not the only factor you should consider. See ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-igYBKCfTnTU.html to learn what to look for.
@@MichaelKummer did a deep dive into the red light for hair. It doesn't work. However, I haven't done onr for the face yet. Have you seen improvements in your face with red light?
@@MarcusAurelius12 My wife has been using red light for her face and has seen meaningful improvements. See michaelkummer.com/health/best-red-light-therapy-devices/
