Protecting your capital is much more important than making money. Basically because if you lose your capital, making money is much harder. ''Missing the train'' vs. ''losing your money''. There are a lot of trains, but if your money is gone, it's over.
I agree! That's why it is advisable that you have to invest while you still have a regular job or earning a regular income, and do it constantly. You still need to have something that will keep you going even if you're investing. Good financial planning and money allocation is the key.
The best course of action if you lack market knowledge is to ask a consultant or investing coach for guidance or assistance. Speaking with a consultant helped me stay afloat in the market and grow my portfolio to about 65% since January, even though I know it sounds obvious or generic. The principles still apply to this day. If you're not able to discern slight changes to a particular platform and won't take the time to learn the slight differences, then you'd maybe need to reconsider what you want to do and whether a business is for you right now.

You'll likely spend more money in problems and lack of infrastructure that an ecommerce giant platform like Shopify provides. The simply answer is just to stick for Shopify and the monthly fee is simply the cost of doing business.
Private Label is THE REAL KEY, Im from Uruguay and import trend products from china for my brand. On this days you need have a brand. And if you live in Australia the shipmen is so cheap (grat oportunity).Droppshiping is a thing of the past.Good Luck

Since you're young, you're already way ahead of 99% of people so I congratulate you for that! It seems like you already have a business and I suggest going on Tiktok and simply creating content about your dog treat business and link to your website where people can purchase from you. Be upfront about the joys and difficulties on starting a business so young and have fun with it! I guarantee you that that effort will pay off.
