Which MSX2 models have the bassy synth sound in some later games? Compare the chip in the Nemesis 2 cart. Is the sound chip in the cart, or is the MSX2 connected to an external unit or expansion? Thanks.
@@MPTVNE When you win 15 levels in a row you take one space from him and you need to win 45 in a row to beat the opponent robot up but if he wins a battle he takes a space and needs only 3 battles to finish you.
I finally found the best video about top listing the best MSX games that look worth playing, especially Konami games! too bad that you didn’t include some MSX games that I liked a lot like eggerland misery, road fighter, Pacman, etc.

Does anyone know of a crime solving/detective game on MSX? I've been searching for it forever and can't find it. Don't know the title for the life of me. I'd love to find it
@@MPTVNE Nope, neither of them. It didn't have any sci-fi/zombie etc elements. I do remember at one point you could get attacked by dogs and die haha. I had it on a floppy disk for the MSX 2
@@MPTVNE nemesis 3 does not have a specific version of msx2 the game adapts and changes the color palette and a couple of things if you put it on a msx2 but it is the same cartridge, unlike kings valley 2 which were two different versions
Thank you, Is there a way to download those old games and play them in old machines and in what format? I happend to have a MSX1 sony from 80's@@MPTVNE
Fray was also for the MSX2, like the XAK series also awesome. Missed out on Randar 3 and some of the post 1997 games... Awesome list, perhaps you could do a MSX Exclusive or Started on MSX (like Eric and the Floaters, Metal Gear, Parodius, etc) series ?
Post 1997 are the homebrew games made in Netherlands (1991 onwards), Spain and a bunch from Japan (on that video are Paradream and MoonLight Saga). I agree, any of the XAKs should be there. As missing is the Ys Saga. I find Higuemaru lovely and should be maybe in a Top-100. (MSX spans 10 years of company releases and 30+ years of homebrew developments across four generations of machines, so being in a Top-100 is not a piece of cake)
