Exactly one year ago I had already made a video about the best visual kei bands in 2021, now here is an update for 2022 with a few more bands than 2021.
i hope you enjoy the video.
Unlucky Morpheus aren't included in the list because, as I found out from your last comments, they don't even count as a V.Kei band. I didn't know beforehand..lol😅😘🥹🤩🎸🎶😇

Interesting choice of visual k, some disbanded, some formed new bands, but for me, Buck Tick is the only and ultimate VK band that continues to be successful and superior to these 40s with no change of line up members, their legacy in music superb.✨🌹❤️✨

I miss UNDER CODE bands so much! Phantasmagoria, Lin, Megaromania, NEGA, chariots, Cu[be], Zodia, ClearVeil, E'm~grief~, Synside, brodiaea, CindyKate... awesome bands! 😭❤ Goddamn Kisaki and all of his crimes/dramas... ruined it all! 😔

Ce top est une honte, comparer des génies comme Mucc ou Dir en Grey, à des groupes idiots qui n'ont aucune carrière et les mettre en bas du classement, en oubliant des légendes comme naitomea ou 9goat, c'est lamentable. C'est à cause de ce genre de top que les gens ont une vision superficielle " openings" du J-Rock, et que cette musique n'est pas respectée dans le monde. Le Visual Kei, c'est beaucoup plus que des costumes ridicules et superficiels. Mêmes si il y a des bons groupes dans ce top, ça représente juste le pire du Visual

DEXCORE are very phenomenal and their music is imposing me until today and I personally enjoy every single second listening to them, but I forgot to put them in my postproduction notes, so that’s why they aren’t included in this video😅😿🙏. pls forgive me😉💕🎶

Start to dive into these immersive vkei world with listening to Tanbi Kei Bands, their lyrics are often about ancient aristocracy or beautiful fantasy worlds, so at least within this one substyle you don’t have to worry about being considered as an heretic 😅😉💕

While back in the early 2000s when I was a teen I was really into a lot of visual kei bands, I find that in the modern day they're really generic. They often have really talented vocalists and guitarists, but song structure is so formulaic that I just tune out about a minute into their songs. There are a few exceptions on this list, but it's a bit of a shame how few.
