Mortician have one really Heavy riff , but unfortunately it keeps appearing on at least 3 songs per album. The exact same Riff, only the production quality is varied. Will Rahmer has a great Voice, but the musicianship could use some variety.

Agreed for the most part about Black War Metal, but I like some Blasphemy songs. Conqueror/Revenge becomes unlistenable after one song-but I wanted to recommend this song by Proclamation - Nocturnal Damnation; this imo is the quintessence of BWM done at its best-but listen to the whole thing; you can't exactly call it a "riff", much less a melody, but it's "of that family". Idk what you'd call it but it's like the spirit of music broke loose on deranged black, dense atavistic "riff".
