With the recent announcement of the recent CSLA Creator DLC, I thought it would be helpful to take a look at the Top 5 Arma 3 Mods for Cold War Scenarios. This is one of my all time favorite alternate history scenarios and if you are like me and can't wait for some arma 3 gameplay with Cold War scenarios, I recommend using the mods in this video. Of course, there is a lot that is out there so if you know of another great mod, I would suggest adding it to the comment section.

Awesome list man. The cold war is one of my favorite eras to learn about and I may be starting a unit in the cold war era soon in Arma.

I just installed Unsung and added the S$S Mod (services and supply) and their small but large range of Vietnam era fatigues is absolutely amazing

Arma has beat the Cold War to death. I’d personally prefer they continue Arma 3s storyline but with an all out WWIII NATO v CSAT. If not GWOT

Im waiting for the CSLA DLC because im from czech and both of my grandpas were in ČSLA. Trying to make scenarios of ČSSR on the west is just fun to me edit:If someone has any map of VVP Milovice or Czech maps then reply

RH mods are not optimized for Single player. The hit in performace for close combat can get to minus 20fps (35fps average)while CUP factions can maintain around 54fps average. I made a test using 15 infantry units each side with 2 armored vehicles each side. 1070/32gb/8700k/ssd

Will global mobilization be updated anytime soon? The campaign was a disappointment for me due to absurd amounts of bugs I have encountered. Also I still find vehicles to be lacking.

I am honestly really confused with Arma 3 modding. I see all these mods like the ones you are featuring but I cannot seem to find many if any cold war scenarios or campaigns, or even multiplayer servers...

Honestly I think its kind of a shame this creator DLC thing is rolling, I'd gladly donate to these dudes on patreon and be okay with slower progress then them rushing for a release date and being a mod-DLC that in functionality is essentially RHS but in the 80s and 20$ (glob mil), but whatever.

Soon as November 5 th drops I’m getting the new Ryzen gen 9 either 5800 or 5900 depending on $. New cpu ram motherboard. I currently have intel gen i5 gen 4 can’t wait should be a massive upgrade. Arma and dcs world are my benchmarks

I would have preferred if they had added USA v Russia rather than USA v Czech, I think had they used Russia, there could have a been a much wider verity of outlandish vehicles

thats what CSLA is.. it adds czech. Global militarization adds cold war germany, east and west, as well as denmark and poland.

@@HypervoxelRBX it's very slow to add those, but those are planned. Personally I dont like the idea of the paid mod crap at all. I due know their is a UK mod for the falklands war, but i dont think theirs a cold war era Australia, NZ, or france. the best those countries have for old times is NZ and aus being in the Unsung Vietnam War mod, and the Faces of War WW2 mod. I can say pr much every country but new zealand has a modern faction mod though
