What I love about Zahira’s video is that she recognizes that the most important thing is to choose things you love, not what some designer is trying to sell you. Also her pace allows viewers to take in and appreciate the examples. Most of these design videos go so fast that they are exhausting and pointless. Thank you for a more humanistic approach.

Thank you for the video! We're renovating our 1931 Colonial house in Virginia and I'm looking for ideas on what to use in the new bathroom. It's the only full bath, so I need to keep the tub...not my favorite...but it's a must for a young family with children. Looking at glass surround, double vanity, fixtures and lighting. All great ideas in this video!
We have a building house project running and the bathroom is one of my favorite things to think about when it comes to color palette, vanities, finishes and tile options. My favorite is matt black high contrast and floating vanity style. We will be incorporating all the trends in our home as we have discovered we love Contemporary styling.
I like the floating vanity. I am fixing my bathroom after a storm did some damage. The colors are an orange and purple color with the accents being a dark gray stone. I have watched your color scheme videos and my whole house will be purple, orange, red, sage, cream, terra cotta, blue, and white. I have not decided on the shades of these colors yet but I think they will be pretty. After watching one of your videos, I think I have decided on a dark purple for one of my walls in the living room.
i love wooden and stone colours and textures, especially the combination. Besides they look beautiful, stylish and contemporary, they give the "cozy" element to a place which was always the "cold" place with all the shiny tiles and artificial/unnatural colors and textures.
I'm not sure how I feel about the round mirrors, because I am 5'2 and my husband is 6'3 and I think a rectangular mirror gives us the functionality that we need. However, the glass screen for the shower is something we are considering for our future bathroom reno. So beautiful and functional!

I am remodeling my guest bathroom and I need some advice in choosing a vanity. The color of the floor tiles is beige with little brownish marble veins and the fixtures are oil bronze. Appreciate your help. Love all your videos.
Agree with you @ Aarti Gupta Kaushik. The matte looks so much more upscale. We have a rental apartment that came with a chrome bathroom faucet. It’s too glossy, so we’re replacing it with a nickel silver one that is matte and not shiny. We’re also replacing the bathroom vanity knobs with square knobs that are also matte finish-nickel.
Yes! There was one video that she started off with a tip saying that a good design is not about beauty, it's about the clever play between objects and space, and out of all the info in all of her videos that I've seen, that has STUCK with me.

Although I generally prefer lighter shads at home but I like dark colours in the bathrooms, I love the dark warm greys with hidden lights, maybe because it gives warmth and privacy to the space

Thank you for your input. You look beautiful. One piece of advice, try placing your teleprompter on the wall just above the camera. It will assist in 2 ways. It will prevent the audience from seeing the lateral eye movements when you change lines, and it will open up those pretty brown eyes rather than appear as if your eye lids are closed. I'm guilty of it, that's why I recognized it. Can't wait to see those pretty brown eyes!

I wish I had seen this video six months ago! We are building our small ranch retirement home now. I am so overwhelmed I can’t even remember the choices of colors and tile etc I have made. I just contacted the builder to ask about round mirrors for the bathroom and they had never been asked that before!
Really needed this video. Remodeling a whole house and I’m so stuck on color of faucets, Kobe the bronze/gold but love the black matte, so I think I’ll do black door handles and bronze faucets.
We are planning for White Kitchen cabinets so we would like to go for all white in Master Bath on first floor which I liked in your video. Is it a good idea to go greyish and light grey or almost looks not glossy white in Second floor bath cabinets in children Bathrooms or is it ok to keep white cabinets all across the house
another great contents again! 🤩 if my bathroom can have access to natural lights from outside i would make a vertical wide long window if not then skylight would help. if both not available i would use daylight led strip just on top of the featured wall that meets the ceiling to create artificial fake window/skylight feel to the bathroom.
My family and I had a house fire in March 2020. Yep, the start of this pandemic 😷 We must rebuild our entire house now. I really like the black matte and wood. It really catches my eye. I also like the round mirrors. I’ve always loved black walnut wood floors. I just don’t know if I should go with wood floors throughout the entire house or if I should do tile in the bathrooms. It’s hard to decide. Very tight budget. We were under insured.
Great video- planning remodel. As getting older want to add grab bars, but they look too institutional. What do u recommend. Also any thoughts about taking what’s on the floor and bringing up behind the sink to break things up for a bit?
I'm onto the floating vanity, and looking at wet rooms and making the shower big enough for aged care so it can be my forever bathroom, especially if anyone needs a shower chair into the future. I'm planning a 1000 x 1200mm shower space.

Hi! I really like your videos 😊. We are in the process of renovating our small bath. My colors are white, grey and black . I have a black and white quartz countertop. I love it! We are undecided about the floor. I'd like your opinion..black really sets off the countertop, its just so black. Im wondering if i should go with lighter, and grey is out now..thanks for your help!

And im considering to include round mirrow or rectangular with rounded corners, wall walnut cabinets, matt fixtures... and i got stuck with choosing tiles for walls. Want to mix wood tiles with either marble or "concrete" tiles or glass. I red somewhere that mix wood and marble isnt a good idea 🤔
