Not surprised the kid is already a thief at 13, with his mother brushing off anything he does wrong and trying to tell off people doing their jobs when they catch him.
@@TheShadow_2023 Juvie isn’t super likely to fox the problem though. Happy healthy children don’t feel an urge to legitimately steal someone’s belongings, it’s very likely there’s something else going on either at home or up in his noggin that I’m not confident jail will be the most effective at resolving
I love bondi rescue so much!! I'm going to join the US coast guard because of you!! (when I'm old enough) Thank you so much for inspiring me! keep up the great work!!.
The one of 17:00 reminded me one time when i was around 12/13. And me and my sister were swimming. A man apparently went underwater and swam towards me my sister pulled me away and the man came up exactly where I was just pulled away from. Directly went out of the water! Very fun time
I love Bondi rescue sm. I want to be a BONDI lifeguard when I'm older so I'm always learning from the best. Also big thanks to will and Troy for being on the Livestream.
You all need to get a bunch of security cameras, watching the water and the areas around. It's called evidence gathering. Would've helped making charges stick for the thieving kid and the creep in the water.
you know it isn't that simple. the chance is the local community would protest about their privacy and then they would be in deep trouble. seen too many cases like this in australia.
I find it rediculous that the bloke with the knife got off because of mental health grounds! Nah if someone is so unscrewded that they're carrying a knife, they shouldn't be let go to freely roam!
You don't understand how far me tal health can make someone go. I do see where your coming from tho. He needs to be in a psychiatric ward to get help, not a prison and he should not have just gotten off
Don't bring your passport to the beach. Rent a box (do they have lockers with locks for the public there?) or leave at hotel or leave in luggage on the bus.
Australia has a legislation that makes committing crimes a right not an offence of you are a minor It's embarrassing. In the SEA like Singapore age doesn't excuse you you get tried as an adult
@@Olivia-pm8kj unlike other beaches, this beach is really popular and dangerous so the life guarding test is super strict. The exam is somewhere on youtube. Also not all lifeguards like to be on camera.
there are a few, just not as frequently featured as the main cast. it depends on the season but they had one girl who left the team during the pandemic there's been none since. its an industry that struggles to get a lot of female life guards. quoted from hopkins: “It’s probably a combination of reasons,” says Hopkins. “It’s a hard job, day to day, on the beach, and the physical tests are tough. We try to get females to apply. With the guys, too, we find it’s harder each year to find people. I think it’s because of the skill level required too. As we get better and more professional, it makes it even more difficult for people outside to apply.”
When you change your background music to a Jamaican beat when the black individual in red pants is on camera, you actually imply that it's a cultural act that all Jamaicans or Africans engage in. Do you play Yodling music when a Swiss thief is caught on camera or maybe Dueling Banjos when it's a white American? Why play a Jamaican beat when it's a black thief? That is very stereotypical. I enjoy your videos, but you can do better than that.
He gets dismissed for "mental health grounds" mate I got mental health issues too, don't see me running around with a knife. What a joke. So tired of this excuse.
@@MsKaystra right, because all mental health issues are the same and if you (most likely) wrongly believe you’re harmless and not a risk (which is only true if you’re vegan) doesn’t mean you aren’t and it certainly doesn’t mean others aren’t. For instance, depression isn’t the same as schizophrenia… educate yourself and have some “common” sense… I’ve got mental health issues (they’re under control) and wouldn’t either but I’m not close-minded believing others can’t… so I hope he and the other ones got the needed help and are better now
@@joey6451 At home? not true. they steal to sell and become addicted to it, it becomes a pattern. they're are a lot of rich thieves that have no problems at home. trust me, it's been proven.
That’s a pretty cynical view that doesn’t reflect reality. Certainly many thieves are heartless but many more act out of desperation. Theft scales with poverty, it’s frequently not an act of cruelty
What class this channel has to hide faces as needed, and I bet you ask the people. I wish RU-vid would take down channels that show straight up harassment for clicks.
I thought the person who ran off and jumped on the rocks would have been included when the helicopters and boats came out. Great work though from both lifeguards and police 👍
Carrying any weapon in a public area is illegal in Australia because it makes that person pose a risk to the people around. It doesn't matter if that person claims to hold a knife for "self-defense". They could still be a danger to themselves or to other people.
you cannot hold a "weapon" which is defined by law. it is okay if you hold a table knife, but those with a name on the list is not okay. search for "prohibited weapons list nsw" and you get the list.
Knifes in the public in Sydney especially are being taken seriously as recently there was a serious stabbing attack in Bondi a few months ago that killed 7 people.
