All notable beaches. But by far the prettiest beach with silky white sand is Taylor Head Beach on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia.

They are all beautiful beaches - I feel the caption should read central Nova Scotia. I am confident there are a number a gorgeous beaches along the south shores of NS. And I know there are equally amazing beaches on Cape Breton Island - the northern part of Nova Scotia.

Love it Pran! There are several warm beaches on the Northumberland Straight (the warmest waters north of the Carolinas). Melmerby beach is a popular one. Caribou Island/Waterside too. Simpson's beach. There are more. Also, two of our favourites are Crescent Beach (not to be confused with crystal crescent) and Summerville beach (near Liverpool).

@@PranNarang also on the north shore probably the best beach with the warmest water is rushtons beach. Bit of a walk from the parking lot but it's worth it. Water warm enough to stay in all day, and tide goes out a long way exposing tons a sandbar to walk on

Many more beautiful beaches which are more than thirty minutes from Halifax, I met a very nice family from Halifax at Mermerby Beach, they told me that the 90 minute drive is well worth it. Warmer water and fine sand for small and big kids

Martinique beach is incredible for walking and very accessible, Lawrencetown beach has lots of great surf and is a good area to swim but not easy to get on to if you have mobility issues. Conrad beach is stunning but no parking or washrooms. Carters beach is stunning but the water can be quite cold. Cristal crescent beach is very nice, 3rd part is clothing optional. Tends to be packed during the summer. Clam Harbour beach was not mentioned but it is huge with great facilities, beautiful rock-free sand, and home to the largest sandcastle competition in the Maritimes.

I grew up in Halifax. My all time favourite beach is Clam Harbour beach. Its about an hour drive from halifax. It has changed alot over the years but still an amazing beach. I didnt learn about carters beach until a few years ago when we flew from Edmonton to Halifax for our wedding. My wife suggested we take her family to carters beach and while it was nice, it was freezing. Didnt have the time to bring them to clam harbour which has warmer water.

Nice video but it's clear that you haven't been to the North Shore. Amazing beaches up there and the water is warm enough to swim in comfortably, unlike most of the others you mentioned. As you said about Carter's Beach, it is stunning and the sand is great, but the water there is friggin cold! Cheers!

Heather's beach and Northport beach are better, the water is warmer (up to 75 deg.) being closer to P.E.I. and a favourable current, NOT the one coming from north, but an underlying one coming from south. John M. Hill, author.

As someone whos lived in NS for their whole life you have missed a few gems :P I'll give yea 2 more amazing beaches. The big trick with NS beaches is what are you doing, and when are you going. - if your going in spring all of the south and eastern shore beaches will be freezing cold. Beautiful yes but if you like actually going in the water you will want a wetsuit. > so if you want a killer beach to hit early in the year try Melmerby beach, its near new Glasgow. I still probably wouldn't try it too early the year (like April :P ) but in June it will be enjoyable. IT also happens to be a quite calm beach so no good for surfing but family friendly, and my personal favorite its very fun for snorkeling. Then for sheer popularity of it Risers Beach. - Not as great in the early part of the summer but it is a favorite amongst many people I know. beautiful boardwalk, great facilities including a cafeteria. > the bonus here is there is a little ice cream shop not far from there in green bay, which even it has some beautiful little beaches to hangout on while you eat ice cream. There are plenty of other hidden gems in regards to beaches but some are so small and fairly hard to find. To be honest they benefit by staying unpopular. - you could even do a whole extra bonus round of amazing beaches that are only accessible by boat/kayak and then you would again have a pretty cool list of amazing beaches.
