Very good video and glad to see your opinions on healing, as someone completely new to healing who's never done it before, would you have any clear tips on what to learn first and any tips in general?
Well it might be somewhat of a baptism by fire in the wrong situation but i'dd suggest to queue up for RDF as a healer around level 17 or 18, this way you wont have many spells to use yet and you'll learn things 1 step at a time. At level 80 is really is hard but a RDF HC or even NM could prove fruitful aswell :), GL!
Well im now at lvl 70 playing resto sham and i tell you its hard had alot of strugle with mana and tanks pulling to much so we end up dead bcz it runs out mana so fast .. rdf is wild i can tell you that much form bad tanks to dps not caring about agro and getting them selfs low i try to save them them and tank too and we all die .. well good mental prep and practice with mana
Aye it do be like that, even worse when his uptime is 70% and he forces prot pala to use wisdom, prot pala could easily provide more healing and relieve stress on hpalas role... but w.e xD
I'm watching this pretty late, by i totally disagree ... How can you say hpally is better than resto shaman and druid... My personal opinion from what I've played and watch other players Resto shaman has stupid ass healing, and dudu can keep a lot of players alive with those hots ! I will sort em like. 1.resto shaman 2. Dudu 3.hpally 4.holy 5.disco That's pve rating tho.. PvP would be 1.hpally and dpriest
Resto druid is a "Fill" healer mate.Each healer is food in it's own way but when a raid will require topping a target that drops bellow 30-40% and you know that if u do not heal that target in the next second he ia going to die,druid will fail that while Hpala can do it easy.Druids are heals that fill in thw gaps for the others healer while disc priets are just providing straight dmg reduction.Hpala will alwys be a better healer than any druid in any situation and i'm telling you this beacause i' m playing all heals at bis gear and have tried icc 25hc as 3 x heal comp with different healer classes with the guild.Cheers !
Resume: Holy Pala: broke af on one target healing ( Just best class on burst heal the tank, that's it) Shaman: Good at one target healing also group healing if you are smart on mana administration Holy Priest: Really good at group healing with nice habilities on some moments where only them can provide that efects (like mov speed) Resto Druid: Really good since they HoTs are nice, probably the helear you want in most situations when you have a Holy Priest or Shaman. Discipline priest: They are "special" since the shields they provide are the thing you need when the raid is fully of helers that can make overhealing THE CLASS YOU NEED when you are doing overhealing so much not the best, but they are playable and also potential healing, btw they are healers. Also, if you are good, you are good, playing smart > top 5 on anything

I feel like resto druids are really underrated... most people have never seen a really good rdudu. I've seen people say that they are useless at fights like DBS. People need to learn what Living seed is. Spamming the tank with Nourish and proccing living seed is just as good as Shamans Earth Shield. Not to mention that you will always keep a Regrowth+Rejuv on them, allowing to cast a quick swiftmend if necessary. Also Nature Swiftness + Healing Touch for that "oh shit this dude about to die" moment. And don't get me started on AOE fights like PP, Sindy, BQL even on Marrowgars bone storm, that's where they really shine. A good rdudu that knows what hes doing is rare which is why rdudus are so hated but having one in your raid feels so good.
Tako je brate, sve si lepo objasnio. Danas nema mnogo dobrih druida, meni je main rdudu, igrao sam ga u patchu 4.3.4 i solo sam hilao DS 10 Heroic, najjači raid. Kada se raspao server na kome sam igrao, prešao sam na patch 3.3.5 i to pre 4 dana. Danas sam bas izlevelovao druida do 80. I sada polako krećem da ga giram 🙂
So, Disc Priests are the best healers in WOTLK... you have them 5th. An absorb is 100% efficient... a heal is not... You can bring less healers on some fights, because of the ability of a disc priest to reduce damage and their absorbs...
Well, most important ability of holy priest in my opinion is guardian spirit. Like if u fked up and cant heal tank in time, its like free not get raged on card.
So, this is the creative process. First you look at which is the best healer out of all of them, this is the "top" healer, then you go down the list from top to bottom to see which is the "top" healer.
@@AwbeeX57 The title is strange.. there are 5 total healing specs, so "top 5" seems somewhat strange... something like "All 5 healing specs ranked" makes a lot more sense lol It's like saying "top 7 WoW expansions ranked" when there are 7 total

I would have place Disc priest in the 3th place then holy priest 4th and resto druid 5th, in my healer experience I remember disco priest was so OP because of Shields he can put on everyone during healing intensive phase/fights ( Syndra tomb's phase for exemple). Also holy priest is very nice to have but it is true in case you already got a disc priest in the raid, but still I agreed it diserve a good rank. Holy paladin is top one because its the only Healing class that never goes oom but if you forget that rsham is best tank/raid healing class for sure ;) And one last thing, resto druid power depends on fights, the more you need to move on a boss fight ( like Ruby sanctum heroic ) the best resto druid is
I said this before but you should really try to make in depth guides with all the classes that you play and go through every icc fight and mention a few class specific tips and tricks (like dks can ams swarming shadow or that you should use your deathgrip/ams on cooldown on blq in case of MC so you don't one-shot someone) I'd personally watch those on repeat especially if I want to try out a new class. Most of those old videos are old and bad quality and incomplete
Just a cookie cutter guide template that you can use for every class. Talents - stat prio - rotation/prio list - consumables - prof (ofc it's jc/eng, ignore this) - maybe bis list for fun and the aforementioned tips
I really wanna disagree with 3 and 5 tho 5 I can’t really because the definition of healing yes I agree tho I believe resto Druid should be over holy but I also never seen a bis holy priest
One button to rule them all. Except PI, PoM, PS, Penace, Dispel Magic, Mass Dispel, Shackle Undead, 3 buffs :P Everything is one button if you stretch reality.
I know this is an old video, but has anyone else here played on private WOTLK servers? Druids are literally best in game. Back in the day Hpal has considered the best, now that people have mastered the game - druids are number 1..... Anyone else agree?
For me its 1. Shaman 2. Druid 3. H-pala 4. Disco 5. Holy priest Note, paladins do 50% sentence healing.... The ones that kept your ass alive are the shaman and druid with shield from discos paladin only useful to stay all time on tanks. Toping healing charts with shaman druid shows who had the skills
And thats why you want a paladin to be tank healer, braindead people do play paladins because you should normally heal 1-2targets. If you lack a paladin healer guess what... Your shaman and druid will easy keep tank up and off heal the raid so.... Don't doubt about it, im letting you know due to playing healer since vanilla and paladins are good but a shaman or druid is better.
Tbh its not "who does best" it's how the healers work together, Holy paladin should be taking care of the tank so that it frees up time for the other healers to do their job, wether that be dispelling or just healing the raid. Working together > Working selfishly, Especially with healers.
Tbh im completely on your side with everything.. disco is needed but boring, holy is extremely fun, resto is super strong in solohealing and hpal is just op. But i love my hpriest over everything and i love nothing more than solohealing rs10hv shadowrealm:D (ofc only on icecrown) its actually not too bad as holypriest
Oh that would be fun too, don't really know everyone however and I wouldn't wanna leave anyone out. besides healing is about team work aslong as we understand that then nobody dies :D
I played every healer in (good) wotlk private servers for a few years now. This video has a lot of misinformation tbh so here's some more info. It's hpal > rsham > disc > rdruid > holy without a doubt. Hpal top because they have strongest throughput the entire expansion and have best raid cd's. If an hpal is able to soak Judgement of Light heals in 25, they should be top healer easily. They aren't OP because of "infinite mana," actually I found mana the hardest to manage as an hpal compared to every other healer if I wasn't in melee range. Rsham weak at first but in ICC lots of fights' damage caters to chain heal very well. They don't need Judgement of Light to pad the meter and do as much healing as an hpal when there is raid damage. Also I think they are the best wielders of Val'anyr. They just need haste more than other healers, so only start picking up after Uld I'd say. A good disc will actually be top heals/absorbs in a lot of fights because of how bubble works; low damage = disc top healer. They also fill a necessary niche for any 25m. Hpal/disc is usually the best combo in 10 mans too. Rdruid is best in Ulduar and can have similarly high throughput as hpal and rsham, just they won't have it as often. Similar predictive playstyle as disc, only instead of pre-absorbs it's pre-hots. Underrated. Holy always felt like a gimmicky, shittier version of rdruid. They are good in naxx and uld and that's about it. Certain fights it's not bad to have however, including LK 25 hc.
I just dont agree to use PI on top dps caster i prefer to use it on rsham or hpal.I mean is it better to have whole raid alive or 3 of em dead and 1 empowered rdps.
In my experience, I think holy priest and resto shammy are neck and neck for number 2. The main contributing factor with holy priest is the experience required to play it. Resto shammy does have an edge in the ability to provide better tank heals, but looking at raid healing, I personally find holy priests to be a notch above resto shammy.
I rolled Restoration Shaman in WOTLK and loved it especially once you learn to actually use Healing Wave with Nature Swiftness Macro keybind to my mouse. Noobs spam chain heal
