Hey Vortex, great video my friend, for me the best drums on iOS are DrumComputer and GR16, because of their MultiOutput and AUv3 capabilities. Drambo is great too but it takes much more time to program. 🎉
Quick tip… in fac drumkit you can turn the sampler off with that circle button and the synth off with that lightning button instead of volume up and down.
Nice, I’ve been looking for a solution for all these one shots. Sample wiz is def on the wishlist now! FAC Drumkit and hammerhead are great for shaping. I’ve made a handful of custom kits on both. Vortex, where can we peep your tunes?
hey again! Vortex, is there a Sampler like this that I can use to make my instruments and "one shots" for drums on the go using Cubasis and then. . . . IMPORT them to CUBASE 12? The only option right now seems to be to import to Cubase the frozen track from the iPads project :( not even the Steinbergs Mini-Sampler can do this in this...
Not that I know of going back and fourth, probably the only app I know to do that would be decent sampler but that's a bit of a step up from the MiniSampler in Cubasis, however there is a ton of videos on how to create instruments for decent sampler.
Until my Koala feature request comes through, can anyone help point me towards an iOS sampler that 1) Shows filenames on the pads AND 2) Works with Bluetooth controllers like Birdkid's Offgrid? Thanks
Hey Sean, any ipad and ipad music app works with any class compliant midi controller including bluetooth controllers, however bluetooth is generally not recommend for music production since there's usually always a latency issue but it's getting better. As far as displaying filenames the only drum app I know of that lets you change the name of pads is Digistix 2.
Great video I want to sample parts of songs and then extract each part to an individual pad. I know koala does stem extraction is there anything else you recommend

Love your clips but….it’s just a formality but that sample you loaded is not a one shot that’s a melodic sample. A one shot is just that a one shot, drum hits mostly. Or a one strike chord etc. I only say this because most people hearing one shot sampler will automatically assume drum sampler. Love ya work
