A little suggestion for first time buyers - I understand that 40k segment is mostly for first time buyers and mostly students. So please don't go solely on specs. Yes Honor and Infinix offer good specs, even Realme and Redmi do, but keep in mind that Laptops are a long term investment, you don't change them every year or so. Hence, for first time buyers I would suggest to go with stable players like Lenovo, Hp, Asus etc. It's very necessary to have a good service network for the same. In my personal opinion, HP does offer less specs but is a good first time buy. Same goes with Lenovo. Choose wisely. Look for an overall package.
I partially agree but most students such as myself want a laptop solely for gaming, we want more perfomance oriented pieces of tech.I'm sure many of the students will agree but on the other hand students as we know it are quite clumsy so if something does happen to your laptop you will need good after sales support which well established brand provide.I don't understand your problem with realme and redmi they are well established in the smartphone market and are crawling their way into the laptop market. And they have many service stations across the country.
I think the Lenovo IdeaPad is the best from these laptops! And I have a kind suggestion that if you are suggesting a laptop for the students then you should mention if it has MS office pre-installed or not.
Sirji, regularly watch your videos and they are really helpful, just if you can make a video on best lightweight laptops particularly with C Pin charhing.... as no need to carry a separate charges during traveling....
There is also another option! which is the Asus Vivobook 15 i3 1220p but the battery life is bad as it a 'P' series processer.If you plan on using your laptop indoors only this might be a good laptop for you.Performance wise it is better than the Ryzen 5 5500u and the i3 11th gen as well, but do note that the display has bad viewing angles and not as good as other laptops in the similar price range.Overall it is the best performace oriented laptop under 40k.
You can get Ipad Air 4th gen for about 35K in festive seasons , but everyone has different requirements , you cannot code on Ipad so yeah , ipad is great for entertainment , video classes , note taking , sketching , pdf readings etc and also gaming sometimes
@@shrishpotdar343 ya but it's not completely true because you get good updates such as good processor, better camera with good position , type c port , it supports apple pencil gen 1 which is cheap as compared to gen 2 which is good for student , and future prove with good design also And most importantly i pad air is now over priced at almost 60,000 So i pad 10 gen gen kind of make sense Plz reply are my points valid or wait for seal and go for air 4
No! Not at all. Just think of it. You’re a college student so I’m supposing you’re prolly getting the laptop for coding, 3D modeling, rendering and stuff which iPads can’t do. Moreover you have to spend extra for the keyboard for iPads. Also if you wanna play games you’ll only be limited to the mobile games. You can’t just compare laptops to iPads. Both are complete different products. You should get one according to your priorities and not for the sake of show off.

You included min 6+ hrs battery life as min criteria but none of the laptops you mentioned would last that long even with normal usage. Because to have 6+ hrs battery life you need to have 60+ Whr battery too. Only Infinix and Honor can be stretched to 6 hrs, if we have to.

I am confused after this video.. same price range i3 12th generation is also available.. little research what I have on internet i3 with 12th generation giving better performance as compare to i5 11th generation and there is ryzen 5 5500u also available. any one who is good with these details .. please advise which one to consider i3 12th gen, i5 11th gen or ryzen 5 5500u.. Don't go with ryzen U series better do a research and buy laptop only according to your need. If you need it for ms word and all that thing it's good to go for thin and light series. Remember this is not for gaming. If you need it for gaming increase your budget to 70k.
I bought the MSI Modern 14 myself. Worst decision ever. The laptop broke down thrice. Everytime I send it for repair, the next time, there's a new problem with it. @@sangdin_hatzaw

Lenovo IdeaPad 3 is not available under 40k. But Lenovo Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 1 ryzen 3 7320u laptop is available under 40k in lenovo store guwahati. I brought 2 weeks ago and it's a good laptop under 40k. ( Worth it )

I own an Honor Magicbook X14, bought in 2022. It's sleek, convenient, and perfect for my coding needs. Its aesthetic stands out compared to other laptops. However, the downside is Honor's after-sales service. There are no service centers in India, only shipping services. Last year, in 2023, my screen broke. Unfortunately, Honor screens weren't available in the market, and since the warranty had expired, the service center charged me 10,000 INR for repairs. However, I found some local screens that fit most laptops, costing around 4000 INR. Yet, their quality doesn't come close to the original Honor screen.
Suggestion to A1 hai but aapne infinix&honor jaise brand ka laptop include kiya hai to ek normal banda lega to 4-5 yrs use karega hi & in future enke koi parts like keyboard battery etc. denage ho gaye to kya market me available honge?
